Disclosure:  This product was provided to me in exchange for an honest review, all opinions are 100% my own.

Hello friends, I hope all is well in your world.  If you have been following me for some time then you know how I feel about keeping my skin moisturized and well protected.  Every night before bed I always slather my feet with a cream or body butter then put on a pair of cotton socks which I eventually kick off within an hour.

I use eye serums and face moisturizers after thoroughly removing all traces of makeup before going to bed then I attack any ash on my hands, knees and elbows by applying a good moisturizer as needed.

Shea Butter 1

Recently, I had a opportunity to try 24KaritGold Shea Butter and I can honestly say that this is a great body moisturizer.  I have been using it on my feet, hands, and even on that burn scar on my leg which I told you about a few weeks ago.  Hubby loves using it daily on his knees, elbows and feet and the mini men have used it on their hair, scalp and face.

Shea Butter Review

24KariteGold Shea Butter is a premium Shea Butter which has been hand processed by a women’s cooperative in West Africa, “Heal your skin and heal the world…one jar at a time.” I have used it as a massage oil as well, which feels great when slightly warmed using a double boiler method.  B24KariteGold Shea Butter contains unrefined, hand harvested wild crafted Shea butter.  You can use this product safely on your body, face, lips, hair, scalp, nails and feet.

I will be taking some of it on vacation because it also has sun shielding properties.  Shea Butter has a history of being successful when used to alleviated and improve external skin conditions such as itching, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, soreness, wounds burns, scarring, acne and stretch marks.

Check out this video review then leave me a comment as to how you have used Shea Butter as part of your beauty regiment.

I hope your day is as beautiful as you are.

Another great video! I like what this company stands for. I like to use shea butter to “seal” in my lotion after a home pedicure. It’s also great on the hair for a pomade effect.

Yes, I am glad they are giving back. I lather this on my feet at night and kick off my socks within the hours.

Looks interesting but how does it smell?

    1. DelBlogger

Not overpowering, but basically just like other shea or coconut butters.

This sounds like a great natural product. It is also great that it provides jobs for women in West Africa.

Yes, I was really excited about that. Hope you are enjoying the day.

Is it greasy? I love deep moisturizer creams but if they leave a residue I usually break out or feel…kinda dirty. Lol

    1. DelBlogger

Nope not greasy and I know what you mean.

I love shea butter, it really helps to seal in the moisture. I mainly use it in my hair after I wash it. I really need to be using it on my body too. #ProductReviewParty

I liked their motto “Heal your skin and heal the world…one jar at a time.”I loved the video! This product looks awesome & just right up my ally. I loved your idea to bring some on vacation in the little container. It’s great its Fair Trade. And,I love supporting my African roots (yep I have some :-)) Going to check out the site right now! I love finding great skin care items like this with no junk in it!

Thank you and most people won’t admit it, but we all have African roots! Thanks for always supporting me, as it is much appreciated!

Ooh, I love Shea Butter. I used to use it in my soap making days. That jar would last a really long time! #productreviewparty

Wow, that’s a bigger container than what I initially thought from the photos! I need to start slathering my feet and doing the cotton sock thing again. These summer months are brutal to my feet. This sounds like a great product!

    1. DelBlogger

Yes, and since being back from vacation, I have been using it nightly on my face.

I love reading your comments!
