Celebrating Women’s History Month

March is Women’s History Month

Women's History Month

Women are mothers, daughters, grandmothers, aunties, cousins, friends, nieces, teachers, preachers, sisters, neighbors, educators, caregivers, employees, employers, owners, entrepreneurs, guidance counselors, creators, inventors, investors, investigators, helpers, wives, girlfriends, lovers, singers, divas, dancers, actresses, artists, disciplinarians, mediators, physicians, schedulers, chauffeurs, bankers, buyers, cooks, chefs, cleaners, household managers, coaches, bloggers, shoppers, shapers, innovators, magicians, money managers, doctors, lawyers, judges, jurors, justice seekers, writers, survivors…

We as women wear so many different hats that it would be nearly impossible to list them all here.  You don’t have to be famous or popular to be recognized because we all have made history by touching someone’s life and that’s cause for celebration.

Like you, I am sure there were women in your life that were very special and deserves to be celebrated.  For me it was my grandmother, Nina Margaret Midget – she is the one who made me the celebrated woman that I am today!

What would you do if you won half a billion dollars?

  • Pay off mortgage and all outstanding debts

  • house for my aunt

  • pay off mortgages for my sister and of all my first cousins

  • pay off mortgages of my two BFFs – West and East coast

  • $ to BFF’s parents for being so good to me as a child

  • provide seed money to 2nd cousins who are starting or have a small business

  • set up 72(t) retirement fund for son #1

  • set up college & 72(t) retirement fund for son #2

  • purchase homes for cousins living in New Rochelle

  • Headstone for my father in Ohio

  • invest

  • $ to people who have been very nice to me, i.e.Valero gas station attendant ; 2 co-workers who came to my grandmother’s viewing/funeral; deli workers at Food Lion

  • $ to people who cared for my grandmother from the MOT Senior Center

  • $ to the following charities: Food Bank of DE, Division of Disabilities, Sunday Breakfast Mission, Sojourner’s House, American Cancer Society, Goodwill and Salvation Army

  • find a nice Island to retire for a year and then volunteer helping others

Putting it out into the atmosphere so if you don’t hear from me in the next couple of days you’ll know that I am on “Fantasy Island”

Good luck and have a fantabulous evening – Smooches!
