One Day at a Time

Hello friends, I trust you all had a wonderful weekend.  Mine was busy as usual, starting with another Yard Sale Saturday morning where I also recorded a brief video on Periscope, “Toni’s Tips for a Successful Yard Sale” check it out here.  This month I scheduled the Yard Sale to begin an hour later at 8:00 am and then it rained so I didn’t make as much money as I normally do.  I did however, make enough extra pocket change for a few trips to the grocery store including getting ingredients for yesterday’s Slow Cooked Lamb Riblets.  It also gave me yet another opportunity to clear out more clothes, shoes and accessories from my closet.

Speaking of clearing out closets, today’s featured outfit is a closet staple which won’t be going anywhere anytime soon because  it’s comfy, fits well and it’s is a maxi skirt, what more can I say.

This maxi skirt was purchased from Marshall’s and it part of the Valerie Bertinelli  collection, and for you old heads, you may remember when she play Barbara Cooper on the 70’s sitcom “One Day at a Time” which is actually still being shown every night on Antenna TV.  For you youngsters, she was also married to rocker Eddie Van Halen and now has a cooking show on the Food Network, oh and she was born in Wilmington, Delaware which I never knew.

Anywho, I haven’t shopped Marshall’s in a long time so I am not sure what other items are in her collection, but I do love this multi-patterned skirt.  I believe this top was also purchased at Marshall’s, however, it could be from Ross.

Enjoy the rest of your day and we’ll chat soon!
