Then do what I do, think of your favorite summer songs, you know the ones that you just have to hear every year no matter how old it is…the ones you only listen to when it’s hot outside or when you’re on vacation?
Okay, now download, stream or pull them up on Pandora, turn up the volume, then sing along loudly in your office or cubicle – sike…don’t get fired…or carted off to Bellevue, just sing quietly and chair dance!

Happy 1st Day of Summer – the longest day of the year!
More sunshine means more fun time, so how are you going to celebrate ?
Will you be cooking on the grill; sitting on the patio/deck listening to music; going to the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival; outdoor dining; heading down to FireFly, playing with the kids/grands or just relaxing with a book and a beverage? How about an ice cream cone from Mister Softee or a $2 Ice/$3 Gelati from Rita’s?
No matter what you do, just do it and have fun!

Today’s outfit post is a 2fer, the first one was worn last Thursday the day of the torrential downpour and the second I wore yesterday.

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday
After all the cleaning of the closets I realized that I still didn’t have a decent pair of summer shorts. I also needed wanted a white denim skirt to wear with a pair of blue and white Polka Dot flats. Not wanting to pay retail because I can’t wear shorts to work I instead headed to the GW Boutique in Exton.
I hadn’t been to this location in almost a year and it had definitely changed. They expanded into the vacant shoe store next door to make it larger with a better footprint.
I found a white denim skirt in the first 5 minutes – #winning
Next were the shorts – #winning
3 pair for the price of one in the store!!!

Hello Friends and Happy Monday!
I hope you had a wondeful weekend and that your work week got off to a good start. Today is the first day of my weight loss program with Nutrisytem and I am extremely excited, really looking forward to not only losing pounds and inches but once again concentrating on portion control. I am not going to bore you with daily updates on what I ate or how many pounds I did or did not lose, I just want to feature my look on Day 1 so that at the end of the month we’ll all see a noticeable difference.
I will wear this dress again on Day 28

Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
Today was a fantastic day, this morning it was sunny with temps in the high 80’s and I was on vacation hanging with my oldest son. There were a few things that we needed to get done including him renewing his driver’s license. I can’t believe it’s been 4 years already and next month he’ll be celebrating his 21st birthday – God is Good!
All that closet cleaning Saturday and I could not find one pair of decent shorts…oh well, time to hit up GW Boutique this weekend! I decided to wear an old pair of capris instead of a sundress and found them to be just as comfortable.
What are you most comfortable in during the heat of the summer?

Glasgow County Park was filled with walkers and joggers but I was just there for the scenery

After a doc appointment I stopped in at Rugged Wearhouse and saw some of the cutest purses, but resisted the urge to make a purchase! It was a good vacation day in May.
