Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday
Do you have an article of clothing that has sentimental value and you know that you’ll never ever get rid of it? Well that’s exactly how I feel about this scarf that once belonged to my sister, Gloria. I don’t particularly like wearing coats and jackets so this large wrap scarf is perfect for the Fall weather and I know it’ll be part of my wardrobe forever!
Made of 100% Viscose in India reminded my best friend of a Magic Carpet but no matter what it will always be my Favorite Fall Scarf!
What is your favorite article of clothing that has high sentimental value?

“eShakti-We Design – You Customize”
I am doing this review for eShakti, an international fashion design company in India that sells ready-to-wear and customized women’s clothing. eShakti specializes in affordable custom made clothing for women in sizes 0-36W. They have been featured in Vogue, Glamour and O Magazines and now include design teams in New York and California. In an effort to reach a wider audience they have contacted several bloggers including myself to review an item of clothing from their stock.
I chose this ready-to-wear blue stripe dress and am not only in love with the color but also in how it fits my body frame. It is an all-season knit dress, so today I added a thrifted denim bolero jacket and black patent leather pumps.
The scoop neck, cap sleeves and side zipper has it fitting me to a “T”, it’s a very nice cut. After wearing, I machine washed on delicate and hung to dry with no problems, it kept it’s shape and only needs a cool iron to remove the wrinkles.
eShakti has a large selection of clothing and their shipping is 7-9 business days including custom clothing, however, certain styles sell out quickly including this one.
For a limited time, you can register and save $25 on your first offer or use coupon code 31BLA778
Thank you Mark & Cleo, owners of The Java House Cafe in Middletown, DE location of this photo shoot.

Last week while blog hopping I entered a giveaway contest to win a scarf from The Posh’mina. One of the Rafflecopter’s entry requirements was to leave a comment on the company’s Facebook page. After viewing the online shop I chose the Hi’biscus style and commented that I would love to feature it on my blog. Within a matter of hours I received a reply from them with an offer to send one – wow the power of Facebook. (now I need to find a giveaway that offers to pay my bills-lol)
Anywho, a lovely lady by the name of Debbie, also touted as being “Fashionably Fifty” from The Posh’mina contacted me, stated that she liked my blog and would love to send a scarf for me to post. I agreed and said that I would wear it to church taking pictures from there, however, upon receipt I was like a kid at Christmas and couldn’t wait to wear it!
The company’s promo states that they had evolved big scarves to become more fashionable and versatile than ever. I definitely have to agree because of it’s design; the slotted arm holes is by far the best feature. How many times has your pashmina scarf fallen off your arms and onto a dirty floor in a public place? The innovative design of the slotted arm holes prevents this from occurring as well as the constant adjusting and slip sliding from the shoulders.
As like most scarves The Posh’mina can be worn various ways
I love the print of this scarf, the style is Hi’Biscus and there are currently 15 styles available online. Made in India, designed in the United States and are 100% Viscose. Dry cleaning is recommended but I will hand wash in a tub of cool water and Woolite when it needs to be freshened then lightly steamed pressed with an iron.
