Dickinson’s Towelettes Review

The Sugar n Spice Voxbox that I received from Influenster contained a box of Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel Oil Controlling Towelettes. These towelettes are suppose to lift dirt and remove impurities from the skin without irritation.  They contain 3 simple ingredients, Witch Hazel, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice and Sodium Benzoate which makes them oil free, non-drying and can be used on all skin types.

I’ve never had problem skin and only use makeup removal cloths so I asked my oldest son to test them as he suffers from occasional breakouts and teenage acne.  Unlike my youngest, he is not particular with his grooming products so he agreed to help with the review.  He used one towelette each morning for a week and this was his report:

Likes:

  • didn’t irritate or sting his face
  • didn’t make his face dry
  • noticed his face was clearing
  • great size to use on face and neck
  • packaged great for travel

Dislikes:

  • the smell, it didn’t stink but didn’t smell that great either -(Witch Hazel has always had a distinct odor)
