You’ll Never Own A House

“The House Will Own You!”

That’s what my Uncle Ernest said to me when hubby and I purchased our first home.  The year was 1990, and in 2014 it still rings true.  The longer you stay in a house the more work and money is involved in it’s upkeep. The re-arrangments, re-designs, repairs and maintenance is never ending

I don’t know about you, but I hate spending my hard earned money on items that don’t work the way they are advertised or are too hard to operate.  How many things do you have in the garage or basement that are unused because after you opened and tried it you forgot about it because it didn’t work the way it was supposed to?

Remember this post where I reviewed the Homelite Pressure Washer?  Luckily, it worked better than expected because I would have been upset to have gotten it home, assembled it only to find out it was too hard to use or it didn’t clean the way I wanted. Homelite Pressure Washer Review

Last Saturday, Home Depot had a few “Try It Before You Buy It” demonstrations, one of which was for the Homelite Pressure Washer.  A FREE car wash was offered to show how easy it was to operate so I took full advantage of that offer and got the “Blogger Buggy” cleaned.

There was also a Riding Lawn Mower demo which is helpful for home owners new to lawn and garden maintenance.

I think this is a great program and want to thank Home Depot for helping customers try before they buy which saves both time and money.  Today I will be using my Homelite Pressure Washer to clean the pool deck.
