OOTD – Poppin Pink
Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay!
I am so excited because tomorrow is the first Flea Market of the season at Dutch Country Farmers Market in Middletown and I will be there bright and early! I love getting rid of unused household items and making extra cash while doing it. Yard Sales are also great ways to accomplish this but there is more foot traffic at Farmers’ Market and I look forward to seeing AND buying from the other vendors. This season in addition to the household items, books and of course shoes, I will also be selling wholesale costume jewelry and am anxious to see how it goes. I purchased necklaces, bracelets and rings from a wholesale dealer in anticipation of making a good profit – I hope it pans out – wish me luck!
Today is casual Friday so I’m wearing jeans, PINK jeans…I didn’t want it to be too much so decided to wear a long Tunic over them, what do you think?
Do you like Flea Markets and Yard Sales?

Beautiful, Love the pink. Happy Friday! 🙂
Thank you and Happy Weekend!
I’m totally obsessed with Flea Markets! and you are right on trend. Fabulous hot pink pants … The neon colors are everywhere! Have fun at your Market. Make sure you bring a lot of small bills (for change and negotiations ;)) then again, you’re so fabulously thrifty, you don’t need any advice on the subject from anyone, lol.
Thank you, and yes, I have been “yard selling” and “flea marketing” since 1976 and love it. Most times I don’t bring any cash and laugh at customers who like to give you a $20 for a 25 cent purchase looking for change…I ain’t no bank! No all kidding aside, I usually have about $10 in singles because I sell a lot of $1 merchandise just to get rid of it.
I looovee yard sales and the like-anything where I can find great bargains and/or make some extra $. I’ve been having problems parting with things lately though. I promise to get better.
It was funny because I went to Goodwill today and saw the shoes I had donated after the Flea Market – almost bought them back!
nice
