Hello friends, and welcome to the #WWDParty!
This has definitely been a busy week which is one of the reasons why this post is a day late…”better late than never”. Anywho, last weekend I was in Philly at the SITSGirls Bloggy Boot Camp and if you didn’t get a chance to read the highlights you can do so by clicking here.
I am also in somewhat of a somber mood as tomorrow, September 14th marks the 22nd Anniversary of the death of my sister, Gloria so I will be heading down to Dover to visit her grave-site.

August should be the month of “tailwinds” because it seems like the summer is flying by!
For some of you school is back in session and perhaps you are doing the “happy dance“. Our youngest leaves for Bowie State University on the 27th, and I am stocking up on the Kleenex!

Hello friends, I hope all is well in your world.
So long summer…can you believe today is the first Friday in August…time sure is flying by way too fast. I was actually behind several school buses yesterday morning, the kids didn’t look too happy but I bet their parents were!!! As you know, we have two sons heading off to college with Malik staying on campus, and there are a few items that I need to get for his dorm room. Bowie sent a brochure from Campus Market to help parents order the necessary bed and bath items that they may need. I drive past a Christmas Tree Shop, Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, Burlington Coat Factory and Ross everyday. If I can’t purchase what he needs from one of these stores it won’t get got, because we don’t pay a sales tax in Delaware.

Hello friends and Happy Fri-Yay!! This has been a whirlwind week and despite the dreary weather I am so happy that the weekend is right around the corner. Several exciting events occurred this week and I’d like to share a few of them with you, the first was having another DIY article printed in @ParadeMagazine, (click here), Potpourri in a Jar ~ Flameless Fragrance. The second was being featured by Whitney Nic James, (click here) on her blog as a May pick in her weekly Personal Style Linkup.
I have also been very busy doing product reviews and will be heading to AC (Atlantic City) for an overnight stay which was a Perk from Crowdtap, definitely looking forward to that one. Tomorrow I’ll be driving back up to West Chester to attend the Radiant Orchard Summer Party hosted by Design+Life+Kids, so look for that recap on that next week. Sunday I plan on taking hubby to breakfast and then lounging poolside, what are your weekend plans?

By the time you read this post I will be hanging with hubby and his co-workers celebrating his retirement at a party!! Don’t worry, I’ll check back in on our party tomorrow night. I hope you all had a wonderful week and are gearing up for what should be a fantastic first weekend in June ~ can you believe it, where did May go?
Tomorrow I had plans to set up a table at the Dutch Country Farmer’s Market but decided to sleep in which is more important for my overall well being. I’ll set up next month.

Hello Friends and Welcome to the
Weekend Wind-Down Party!
Can you believe that it’s already the first Friday in May? Memorial Day is right around the corner so I know this week’s party is going to feature a lot of fabulous recipes, fashions and DIY’s to kick off the summer season. I’ll be on the lookout for ideas to use at my son’s High School Graduation Party on the 24th!

Welcome to Week 14 of the #WWDParty!
It’s official Spring has finally sprung, look who I caught poking around outside!

With my son’s graduation right around the corner on the 22nd of May it’s time to get some yard and house work done which will begin in earnest tomorrow.
Tonight I begin the income taxes and no, I didn’t start them last Friday but now I have hit the deadline wall!
