OOTD – Glori-ous Day
Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday
Today would have been my sister’s 50th birthday and as kids I would call her “Glori” , so what could have been a gloomy day turned out to be a Glori-ous one, my Angel still shines brightly – Rest In Heaven Glori!
It took a little longer to get dressed this morning because I’m still not wearing heels and the weather forecast called for temps in the 80’s . As much as I wanted to break out the summer gear I held back. Decided on this thrifted polka dot skirt from GW Boutique, red sleeveless top from Ross or TJ Maxx/Marshalls and Red Stripped Wedge shoes from Avon.

Your backyard is all a bloom and unlike me you aren’t sneezing 🙂
This time of year is beautiful but bad for the boys!
Sorry you lost your sister – lovely to think she is your angel.
Those spring blossoms are beautiful – as are you in red!

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. Have a wonderful night.
I’m loving the blooms in your yard, how beautiful! You know black/white with a pop of color is a favorite of mine so I’m loving the dotted skirt with the red. I’m also glad that today was a Glori-ous one for you, as I know how it is to lose a sister. I’ve lost 2 of my older sisters, with one still living (I’m the baby of the family). Its tough but God grants peace and strength when my mind is stayed on him! And I too know that I have 2 angels in heaven!
Be comforted and blessed!
God bless you sis, and thank you so very much for the kind words of inspiration.
So glad that it was a Glori-ous day for you! What a great way to remember her. Love your outfit and the beautiful blossoms on your tree!
