I Got It @Goodwill
Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday
Can you feel it? Can you smell it? Can you hear it? Spring is right around the corner and the temps are rising, the air is clearer and the birds are chirping louder! Spring fever is definitely in full effect.
Last week I wore this totally thrifted outfit which was perfect for that in-between weather going from winter to spring.
With a little snow still on the ground, I opted to wear tights to keep my legs warm. I am anxiously looking forward to shedding them and breaking out the open toe shoes and then the sandals!
How cute are these ankle strap wedges, and the patent leather reminds me of my Easter shoes as a kid. Did you ever have a pair and they squeaked when you walked and you would shine them with vaseline?
In addition to the shoes and tote, these Goodwill goodies includes the skirt, top, belt, and blazer – an entire outfit for less than $20.00 ! #winning
The fact that this outfit matches the bench makes it even better, now let’s just hope we don’t get any more snow this winter! Today I’ll be blog hopping with Whitney Nic James, Thrifter’s Anonymous and DC Goodwill Fashionista.
Stay Blessed – No Stress in 2014!
As always I love the outfit but I loved the bag even more lol!!!!!
Yes, this $2.00 tote is turning into my favorite!
Antionette two dollars!!!! Wow great deal for sure
Yes, it was a great bargain!!! Hope you are having a Thankful Thursday.
Love the outfit but I’m not fond of the snow..Thank God spring is coming 🙂
Thank you. It was supposed to be 70 degrees today but then drop down into the 20 ‘ s. This winter does not want to leave!
O’ do I know the feeling. Up here it feels like 3. Ick! But I have lots of hope Spring will be here 🙂
Wacky Weather…but Spring will be here soon enough! Happy Thankful Thursday.
Always looking good! And I love those wedges!
Thank you, aren’t they cute? Thrifting new and nearly new shoes is always a thrill for me!
OMG!!! The vaseline on my patent leather mary janes! 🙂
Yes, I knew that you would remember!
I’m now picturing all the outfits I can wear with those adorable shoes…love them! You look really nice and pulled together. How bold you are. I have never been brave enough to wear a lot of red. Speaking of Goodwill, you and Whitney have got me more interested in thrift store finds. Last week while visiting Pasadena, I detoured to a thrift store and found a mint condition full-length, cashmere Calvin Klein coat in a beautiful tobacco color. I may not get to wear it much, but it now hangs in my closet. 🙂
Wow now that’s really a winning thrifted find!! I have been thrifting so long that I find it hard to shop retail. Thank you, I could see you in these shoes as well. I never shyed away from red and find it a nicer color the older I get.
You are working it and making this Goodwill outfit stand out. Great bargain hunting!
Thank you, I love finding items during different trips and stores and then making them come together.
Wow what a great outfit for work or a date night. Rachel xo
Yes, thank you, I wouldn’t wear the tights if going out to dinner, what do you think?
Love the shoes, patent is my favorite!

Thank you, I thought they were adorable and I too love patent leather because it never goes out of style!
You look lovely and WOW! You scored at the goodwill! I remember those squeaky Easter shoes lol
Thank you, I love finding a piece here and there and then putting it all together. I am glad I wasn’t the only one who remember squeaky patent leather shoes!
you are stylin! looks fab~
Thank you Miss Missy!
You look great. I love that shade of red on you.
Thank you, red and orange are my favorite colors.
Such a strange winter this year! Love your tights, which is a very smart (and stylish) move. We’re finally creeping into spring around here, and I’ve even dared to bare my ankles the past couple of days. Still freezing in the mornings, but it’s worth it just to feel like I’m inviting spring to come join us. 😉
Thank you! Yes, I think March will come in like a “lion” and go out like a ‘lamb” Hope you are having a wonderful thankful Thursday.
Those bright reds are just divine on you!
Spring better hurry up – yet another snow storm arriving in Boston this evening – not funny.
Hope it steers clear of you, especially as you have already ditched the boots for gorgeous patent shoes!
Gurl it was beautiful yesterday and today it feels like the first day of winter, I am getting too sick of this mess. Stay warm and thanks, I love the colors in the red family, including orange.
What a great outfit and they’re all thrifted which is fantastic! I love the red because it’s a deep red and it’s telling me that you “mean business!” When I used to work in sales, I gravitate towards red when I’m trying to close a sale. There’s something in that color that gives me the added confidence.
And yes I adore those black wedges! Wish I can find some patent wedges in our thrift stores but so far I’ve not been lucky to snag one.
Wow, didn’t realize that red meant business – I’m lovin that, now I need to thrift more deep reds! Shoes are always a hit or miss at Goodwill but I scored these and another pair in grey, but they are peep toes. Hope you are having a wonderful thankful Thursday!
Love the red colors on you and you scored some great buys. Hope it warms up soon. . .
Thank you my dear. Hope you are having a Thankful Thursday!
Your Thrifted finds just get better and better our friend! Those patent wedge Mary Janes are the icing on the cake!
