Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay!
What are your plans for the weekend? As with most of the MidAtlantic area we have had rain and overcast skies all week and it’s supposed to be the same tomorrow and Sunday so there will be no pool lounging. I will however, be lounging around the house, doing a few chores and working on my blog, and maybe take a few naps in between.
Today’s casual Friday outfit is “faux lace” floral jeans from Rugged Wearhouse and a simple cinched waist Faded Glory top from Walmart.
Blending in with the deck pillows!
Cut-out wedges were purchased at Marshalls 2 years ago, never worn
I always have to wear a belt with low-rise jeans
Enjoy your weekend – Smooches!

I was gifted a product sample of bareMinerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0, for being a “Beauty Ambassador” for *Ladies Home Journal. Now for the life of me I don’t remember signing up to become an “Ambassador“, but glad that I did because you know I like to get things FREE!
I am not a beauty expert nor have I ever claimed to be, but I’ve been known to try new products and then share my opinion, usually an Avon product because that’s what I sell. So when I get free samples in the mail or from magazines I like to try them as an alternative to my Avon products. The bareMinerals Eyeshadow READY 2.0, is a duo palette, “PAGE SIX” is a light pink shade and “MOST REQUESTED” is a darker burgundy both contain iridescent sparkles. I swatched each color onto my arm and found them to be smooth in application as well as a complimentary color for my complexion.
I primed my eye lids before applying and chose my version of the Smokey Eye look. Used an elf Angled Couture Eyeshadow brush for “PAGE SIX” and the Blending Eye Brush for “MOST REQUESTED”
The bareMinerals Eyeshadow went on smoothly with no dusting or falling flakes
Product wore well throughout the day and looked just as fresh at 3:00 p.m. as it did when first applied at 7:00 am
* This is solely my opinion – Ladies Home Journal Magazine did not request a review via De Divah Deals Blog in exchange for product*

Hello friends and Happy Hump Day and Halloween Wednesday.
I am finally back to work after being off since last Thursday and it’s all good in the neighborhood! This denim riveted skirt has been hanging in my closet for almost a year, hubby gave it to me and I love the big side pockets. I was in search of a pair of booties from Goodwill but found these at Rugged Wearhouse for $10.00 (woohoo). I am not overly impressed with the pairing of the shirt, so my next search will be of a plaid to give the outfit a more country look, right now it’s a little Gypsy!
Sequins top – Marshalls // Skirt – Eastessence.com// Booties – Rugged Wearhouse// Tights – Ross
We will not be participating in trick or treating this year – sorry kids, please don’t egg my house
but if you are, be safe and don’t take any candy from strangers – lol!!!
Linking up today with The Pleated Poppy & Marion Berry Style – hop on over and read a new blog
Have a fantabulous day – Smooches!

Yesterday I had a dental appointment and because I live in Delaware, it didn’t make since to drive to work in Pennsylvania afterwards so I took a vacation day. The weather was extremely nice, not too hot and humid so instead of a maxi dress, I wore shorts, and a tank top with flip flops. I joined the BLMGirls Facebook group and while reading the blogs I found recommendations for various photo editing websites, I used Pixl to edit and create this collage.

If you read my Monday blog you know that my week started out mis-matched because I was unable to prepare my outfits for the week on Sunday night.. It didn’t get any better and to make matters worse I stayed up late last night watching the 2-hour premier of Dallas (OMG IT WAS MUST SEE TV) which is why I have 2 OOTD entries today. The dress is BLUE and white polka dot but the shoes were BLACK and white polka dot and even though my son said, “mom it looks alright – I’m tired of taking pictures , I changed my shoes and accessories and this what I ended up wearing to work.
