Weekend Wind-Down Party #8

Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay!

Can you believe this is the last Friday in February?  It’s sad to see time flying but I don’t think any of us will miss the snowy season and with only 21 days until Spring, we can all  “GOODBYE FEBRUARY!”.

As you read this I’m at the Sheraton Hotel participating in this year’s 2014 Goodwill Runway Show.  This is my first time working as a Stylist and am truly over-the-top excited!  Fellow blogger and friend, Whitney Nic James is covering the event so look forward to reading all about it next week.

OOTD – Zebra Stripes and Tiger Orange

 Hello Friends and Happy March Eve!

Can you believe today is the last day of February?  I am taking a PTO day off from work and will be attending an event later at The Money School of Delaware.  Yesterday started out wet and rainy so I just wore black slacks, a zebra print top and flats then added an orange belt to break up the black and white.  It wasn’t fashionable just comfy Corporate casual – what do you think?

The orange purse was purchased from Charmingly Linda’s Consignment Shop and I tied a multi-color scarf around the handles.

I was going to wear the single bracelet that I made in my DYI post (here), but decided to add a few wooden bangles to the zebra print ones that I had in my jewelry box

I used orange nail polish to cover a silver ring – another DYI

OOTD – Pre V-Day Wednesday

Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday

It’s the day before Valentine’s Day, do you have anything special planned…will Cupid be shooting any arrows your way?  I’ve never been big on V-Day and prefer to get my candy the day after when it’s half price – lol  Hubby and I may go out to dinner Friday night and I bought my sons a card and some candy from Dollar Tree, otherwise nothing special.  I guess when you are single and dating, Valentine’s Day is more of a Holiday, but I tell my men everyday that I love them and the 14th of February will be no different.

 I am still wearing red in honor of “America Goes Red for Women” month and will wear a wee bit more tomorrow.

We are expecting snow but not until this evening so I decided to wear my grey, suede booties to pick up the color in the shirt.

These Bamboo faux fur trimmed booties were purchased a few years ago from Burlington Coat Factory and despite their “ugliness”, they are quite comfortable.
