I have been wanting to wear these white pants for several weeks now but the weather hasn’t been warm or sunny enough.
Today is the day, and in my head I hear the woman in the commercial saying, “don’t wear white after Labor Day – who are you? – my grandmother?” The actress, Lisa Raye wears white everyday so here I am in my white pants before Memorial Day.

Today started out a bit rainy and overcast but temps are supposed to rise with bright sunshine heading into the evening commute.
The polka dot shirt was thrifted from Goodwill and started out as a size 2x. I sew so I never let sizes deter me from making a purchase and I had been searching for a black and white polka dot top. With help from hubby who pinned the sides so that I could cut and sew it, it’s now a better fitting size large. I wore a Fedora instead of carrying an umbrella which is such a pain when walking only a few feet into the office from the parking lot.
