Today is going to be another hot and steamy day, and this is actually Heatwave #4. If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen the 5-day forecast for the Delaware Valley – HOT HOT and HOTTER. The Meteorologist stated he preferred the cold and snow of winter but I love the heat of the summer. Deciding what to wear isn’t a challenge since I’m in an air conditioned car or office most of the day and I was going to wear all black but decided to throw in a little pink.

Hello Friends and Happy Monday
I hope your day is going well and that it is productive and stress-free. I overdid it with the outdoor activities and today I am paying the price, both my mind and body are tired! Maintaining a pool is hard work and the older I get the less enjoyable it is. Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy lounging poolside but the Spring setup takes a lot of time, just vacuuming takes over an hour. I also have to do some comparison shopping for a new solar cover, think I’ll start with Daily Deal Superstore.
Today’s outfit is a mix of heavy and light because the temps were not expected to rise until later in the day.

Hello Friends and Happy Monday
Today’s outfit is the Avon color block dress which was first featured in this May 2012 post, wow, time sure does fly by! This time I decided to pair it with a little animal print from the matching earring & necklace set to the shoes and small pouch which was a DIY project.
This small canvas pouch was covered with surplus fabric using a hot glue gun. It’s a perfect size to carry a wallet, cell phone and keys.
The lucite earrings and necklace set was purchased at Jewelrymax.com and the lucite rings from Burlington Coat Factory
I love the touch of animal print in these black pumps from Rugged Wearhouse featured here in September

Hello Friends and Happy Back to Work Monday!
The fog this morning was still quite thick making for a slow yet smooth commute into work. I guess a lot of people decided to work from home because the office is quiet, providing me an opportunity to take a few pictures in house. Unfortunately I no longer have the ability to work from home….those days are gone forever. How about you, does your employer provide a WFH or flexible work schedule policy?

Hello Friends and Happy New Year’s Eve 2012!
Back to work after having a week off which flew by too quickly, thankfully there are only a few others in the office so I can play catch-up in peace. My son, aka “Lamont” gave me some clothes to be donated to Goodwill but I kept this flannel shirt (Fred) and it fits perfectly!

Hello friends and Happy Monday before Thanksgiving 2012!
Weekends seem to fly by and this one was no exception especially since I spent most of yesterday washing and pressing all of my thrifted Goodwill goodies. Sometimes I wonder how a silk blouse or cute skirt could have been donated but then I think about all the items I’ve donated over the years and say, “yep, it was too small, too big or my closet is just too full!”
I simply adore these shoes and am amazed that I found them in blue as well – jackpot!
Black skirt was previously thrifted from Goodwill in Exton, PA and the belt was purchased back in the ’80’s
