Just when we thought Spring had sprung, Winter decided to make a guest appearance.
Fortunately I hadn’t removed my boots from the closet so today I wore a pair with a Spring dress. For the fun of it I also tried on Booties and Red shoes but because of the rain, I stuck with the boots.
Wearing footless tights from Walmart I can say that my tootsies are still out!

Last week the temperature was hovering near 90 degrees and people were wearing shorts on Saturday. This week after a cold and rainy start on Sunday (snow in upstate PA), we’re lucky to get above 50 degrees! Sleeveless dresses have been put back into the closet and long sleeves and skirts are front and center – but my tootsies are out and out they will stay until winter!

Today’s outfit includes a two piece, stripped Sag Harbor top and jacket courtesy of my grandmother. When she passed in 2009, I donated most of her clothes and accessories, however, there were a few pieces that I held onto. This two piece will always remind me of her and her good taste in clothing!
Long black shirt was thrifted from Goodwill and has a zipper that brings the slit thigh high – I chose to keep it decent for work – lol.
Wedge shoes are part of my urbanog.com shoe haul featured in my previous blog.
Earrings and multi-color bracelet from Jewelrymax.net and ring from Avon.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE shoes and have been know to buy several pairs at a time if the price was right. Needless to say the prices were definitely right this time because I purchased 8 pairs!
A few weeks ago, I found the website, URBANOG.com and on this particular day they had several shoes on sale/clearance as well as a 30% off discount code. The shipping cost was $9.99, but I paid less than $145.00 for everything which worked out to be less than $20.00 per pair!
Shipping was quick and the shoes were packaged securely to arrive in a perfect condition. I am looking forward to “shoecasing” them in my outfits of the day (OOTD).
