Hello friends and Happy Hump Day and Halloween Wednesday.
I am finally back to work after being off since last Thursday and it’s all good in the neighborhood! This denim riveted skirt has been hanging in my closet for almost a year, hubby gave it to me and I love the big side pockets. I was in search of a pair of booties from Goodwill but found these at Rugged Wearhouse for $10.00 (woohoo). I am not overly impressed with the pairing of the shirt, so my next search will be of a plaid to give the outfit a more country look, right now it’s a little Gypsy!
Sequins top – Marshalls // Skirt – Eastessence.com// Booties – Rugged Wearhouse// Tights – Ross
We will not be participating in trick or treating this year – sorry kids, please don’t egg my house
but if you are, be safe and don’t take any candy from strangers – lol!!!

Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday. This morning I had an hour long conversation with a cousin that I met only once, 12 years ago at my father’s funeral. We talked and laughed as if we had spoken just last week. Our conversation was enjoyable and we both learned a little more about each other and our families. These days it seems as though personal letter writing or conversing on a LAN line has been replaced with texting, instant messaging, tweeting or facebooking. We need to connect on a more personal level with family and friends especially as time marches on and our lives shorten. Today I vow to call her more often as well as having live conversations with other family members and friends.
Dress – Burlington Coat Factory// Sweater – Ross// Shoes – The Shoe Department
Statement necklace – Flea Market Vendor for $1.00// Ring – Target// Earrings – jewelry box
Have a fantabulous day – Smooches!
