Before and After The Storm
Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday
Here we are 7 days out from last week’s snow and ice storm yet the damages are still very much evident. This storm caused major headaches and heartaches for many Pennsylvanians due to the loss of power, initially affecting more than 500K people. Wawa on 202 North almost ran out of coffee and did run out of bagels Wednesday morning.
The day started out cold and dry but it didn’t take long for that to change. Thankfully, in Delaware we didn’t get the brunt of the storm but we all know there’s another one not too far behind. Oops just heard the forecast, they are calling for 6-8 inches of snow beginning Wednesday night – Old Man Winter is not giving up without a fight!

In this bright neon vest, I would never get lost in a snowstorm!
It was a bright, crisp morning in Delaware
After the snow it was beautiful….but
…then came the rain, and unfortunately the trees couldn’t handle the weight of the ice and that’s when the damage began.
Power lines were downed causing many in Chester County to lose power for almost a week and some are still without!
See the other pics in this gallery
I love your outfit pretty lady! It’s so sad what freezing rain can do to trees and power lines. It is beautiful to look at but it has a double edged sword! Hugz Lisa and Bear
I know, so many people lost power due to the trees falling onto the lines but the cars and homes were equally damaged. So sad…only a few short weeks and then Spring will be in full bloom! Have a great week.
Over here in CA, we have severe drought. The country should be worried. Ca supplies pretty much all the food in the US. 0_0″
Oh, and I love the shoes ! !
I know, I heard about that – so amazing with this mixed up crazy weather. Things will get better soon…at least let’s pray that it does. Happy Hump Day Wednesday.
You look Great no matter the storm. The first photos of the snow are just beautiful. Stay warm my friend.
Thank you, I truly appreciate your kinds words more than you’ll ever know. Enjoy the rest of the week.
The bright orange vest will keep you found in a snow storm, that is true! Pretty too! Love that spark of spring! The snow pictures are beautiful even though the damage is great. Down here in middle Georgia, we are expecting an ice storm to hit tonight and hang in there until sometime Thursday, Not looking forward to that!
I hope you stay safe and warm, as I understand it can’t be dangerous because you guys aren’t used to this weather. Happy Hump Day Wednesday!
Sooooooooooooooo sick of winter! I want to wear nice spring things 🙂
Me too…but I have a lot of sweaters to wear – lol
GORGEOUS! I’m sorry you’v had such a rough winter with so much snow. I wish I could have seen snow at least once, it’s been almost like summer here, the coldest we’ve seen is 52. Well you look beautiful and I love your shoes and bag
Thank you, personally I enjoy the snow because it makes you slow down and hopefully enjoy life with family and friends. Have a wonderful week!
The photos of the snow is so breathtaking! Cute outfit. Georgia could not handle all that snow, smh.
No, I guess not but this year we have gotten used to it, thankfully no major concerns other than power outages.
I am so sorry about that. Stay safe and warm. Last week was our snowy kind of week and the last one brought in about 5 inches of snow, then a temperature of -20. And you look gorgeous and yes you will never get lost in the snow in that vest. 🙂
Thanks, hopefully tonight’s snow storm will be the end for the season, I think every one has pretty much had enough of it! Happy Hump Day Wednesday!
WOW… Your pics look like a postcard! Look at the work of GOD. Simply AMAZING. And, you look amazing yourself. GREAT outfit and shoesss!
