Slow Cooked Cranberry Turkey
Ingredients:
Turkey Breast Tenderloin
1 small onion diced*
1 can Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
1 cup Barbeque Sauce
Salt and Pepper to season (optional)
Spray Crock Pot with Cooking Spray
Add Turkey Tenderloin and sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired
Add diced onions, cranberry and barbeque sauce.
Cover and cook on LOW 4 hours
When I got home I could smell it, but it wasn’t a good aroma, it was the smell of burning meat, my son turned the Crock Pot on HIGH!!!! “Waste Not Want Not” so we ate it anyway with Stovetop Stuffing and String Beans!
Hopefully our Thanksgiving turkey won’t suffer the same fate!

cut onions on stovetop with exhaust fan running – no more tears
Cranberry and BBQ sauce? Interesting combo but I like the idea!
Yes, it would have been better had it not burned! Let me know if you try it.
I’m always looking for new slow cooker recipes. It’s nice to have dinner up and going as I go about my day. Thanks for sharing!
Sounds yummy! Thanks for the tip on the onions. I will give that a try.
Thank you, yes, I read the onion trick a while back and have used several times. I keep my onions in the refrigerator as well. Have a wonderful week.

Thank you, it was good and a great prelude to Thanksgiving, too bad it burned. I will definitely try it again and when you do, let me know how it turns out. Have a wonderful week.
