Schnizzie – A Sparkling Vodka Cocktail
Fri-Yay~Fri-Yay~Fri-Yay
The best day of the work week!
One of my Friday night rituals is to stop at Pockets Discount Liquors in New Castle for a bottle of Barefoot Sweet Red wine. This evening was no exception, however, tonight they were hosting a taste testing. Shannon Heinz, proprietor of Schnizzie Vodka was providing samples of her newly released Sparkling Vodka Cocktail. Schnizzie is an all natural, sparkling cocktail made with premium vodka infused with real strawberries, distilled from sugar cane and sweetened with light agave nectar. It is gluten free and made in New York, my sample was poured over ice but can be consumed chilled without ice.
Schnizzie is the first Sparkling Vodka Cocktail on the market but the quality can be compared to Ciroc or Van Gogh Vodka. Shannon has had several taste testings throughout the state and more information can be found on her Facebook page, www.Facebook.com/schnizzie. Packaged in a cellophane bag makes it a perfect holiday gift or in my case a great drink while decorating the house.
Goodnight and remember to always drink responsibly.
Camera Shy Guy
My cubicle wall is filled with pictures of my sons at various stages in their lives, there was as time when they would eagerly pose for pictures anytime I asked. Now not so much, now I have to practically bribe or promise that I won’t capture their faces. When I ask son #2 to take a picture he runs as fast as he can, but yesterday morning I complimented his look so he reluctantly “posed ” for these pictures.
One day he is going to have to deal with this with his own kids – lol!

A fantastic idea for holiday or anytime gift giving!
OOTD – HAPPY FRI-YAY!
Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay!
I hope your day is going well and that plans for the weekend are in full gear – enjoy! My mother-in-law is doing well and I thank you for all your prayers. Tonight the boys and I will be visiting taking a small table-top Christmas Tree to brighten up the room and raise her spirits. All week I have been psyching myself up to start decorating and have decided that tomorrow is the day, oh Lord. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t like decorating for the holidays, it just getting motivated to start because I HAVE TOO DAMN MUCH. If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen pics of just a few bins of Christmas decorations that are in my basement’s crawlspace. When my sons were younger, they were all gung-ho and couldn’t wait to help – now it’s like pulling teeth and hubby is a Muslim so he only helps to put the boxes away, the majority of the work falls on me. The older I get the more I understand why people paid others to decorate their homes, remember this episode from “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air”?
It’s not as cold as I expected but there’s a cold rain falling so I bundled up with a scarf for casual Friday.

Walgreens Rewards
Tuesday evening I went to Walgreens because of their advertised sale on Butterball Turkey Bacon, 6 oz for $1.29, which is much cheaper than the grocery stores. My son usually eats 4 slices a day so this was definitely a money saver.
I first purchased a bottle of Revlon Nail Polish for $4.99 and received a $1.00 off with an in store coupon as well as a $3.00 off coupon for my next purchase . Armed with that coupon and my coupon caddy I checked the end caps for clearance items. There was Poise Cooling Gel and Poise Freshener, both marked down and with my coupons I paid .12 cents for each. My purchased also included Holiday Liquid Hand Soaps, marked $1.99 each or 2/$3.00, but with Rewards paid $1.09 each; Sally Hansen Nail Polish, $1.49 and a pack of Liners for a total cost of $13.44.
I am loving the Walgreens Rewards Program

OOTD – Winter Wednesday
Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday, I hope your day is proceeding according to plans.
Today we are experiencing more unseasonably warm weather but the temps are expected to plummet tonight with a cold blast of winter winds. This weekend I’ll sort through my “bin o sweaters” to determine which ones I’ll kept and which ones to donate. I am not looking forward to the cold weather ahead but it’s the price we pay for living on the east coast.
Sweater – from the bin // Skirt – GW Boutique (Goodwill) // Jessica Simpson Peep Toe Pumps – Charmingly Linda’s Consignment Shop // Necklace – Rugged Wearhouse // Ring – Jewelrymax.net

FREE Business Cards
Hello friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday
If you are in the market for new business cards I am going to suggest you try *MOO.com. I’ve always ordered from *Vistaprint and may do so in the future but my next order will definitely be with MOO.com. I was browsing the website based upon recommendations from other Bloggers and found the link to receive 10 Free Business Cards. Not only are the cards FREE but the shipping is also FREE – now that’s how FREE should be! There were several color and font options to choose as well as the ability to left, right or center justify the print.
Immediately after submitting the order I received an email with the status and then another when they were being shipped. Thinking that since the cards were free and were being shipped free they would arrive in an unmarked plastic bag or plain brown envelop.
NOPE!
;
The cards arrived in a padded USPS First Class envelop, nestled in a cardboard box which was slid into a cardboard holder similar to a box of matches (remember those?) These free CLASSIC cards are described as 3.30″ x 2.16″, printed on 16pt/350gsm, matte laminate, silky, faintly reflective, to me they are simply nice, high quality business cards that will definitely stand out from others.
Now I need to play around with getting just the right design for my next paid order which starts at $19.99 for 50 cards.

*I am not a paid endorser for either Moo.com or Vistaprint – this is my personal opinion of the products
OOTD – Black and White Monday
Hello friends and Happy Monday…Tuesday sorry – yesterday’s post was dedicated to my mother-in-law so I didn’t feature an outfit of the day. Before I begin I want to thank everyone for their comments as well as prayers because I do believe in the power of it! Yesterday she had a good day and although her body is weak and frail her mind is sharp and active – so keep on praying.
Monday’s outfit was a combo of black and white but I need to use splashes of color, I’ll be looking for some colorful scarves at Goodwill or maybe Plato’s Closet . I have never gone to a Plato’s Closet although there is one in Exton just a few miles from my job, and there is also one about a mile from The Hospice on Limestone Road, I’ll check one of them.
Scarf and Cowl neck top – closet staples // Houndstooth skirt – Goodwill // Black Studded Pumps – Goodwill
I wore a bunch of silver bangles, a pair of silver earrings and silver ring with a red stone, the only splash of color – lol
Again, thank you so much for praying – have a wonderful evening – Smooches!
