Hello Friends, Happy Thankful Thursday AND
Last month I was recognized by fellow blogger Me and My Mini Me and nominated for a Liebster Award. This award is a way for other bloggers to say, “Hey, I like your blog” and for that I am thankful.

What inspired your blog? Why do you blog? – After the death of my grandmother, I needed an outlet to showcase my shopping deals and neither Facebook nor Twitter seemed the appropriate venue. I enjoy sharing and reading about other’s personal and positive lives.

If you found a genie in a bottle and he could grant you three wishes, what would you wish for? – A clean bill of health for my husband, a wonderful life for my sons and all my debts to be paid in full.

Hello Friends and Happy Thankful Thursday
I was recently nominated for a Liebster Award by lovely C-Ray of Sunlight Beauty, and for that I am thankful.
C-Ray loves sharing her fashion and beauty finds as well as providing great everyday tips, so take a few minutes to check out her blog and show some bloggy love.
The Rules of Acceptance:
After you have been nominated and you have accepted it, you have to write a blog post yourself doing the following:
1. Thank the person who has nominated you and link back to their blog (by posting a link on yours).
2. Copy and display the award in your blogpost (save the image and upload it to your own post).

Hello Friends and Happy New Year’s Eve!
As we close out the year 2013, I would like to take this time to say, “Thank You” to all my wonderful bloggy friends and followers.
A Blog is defined as:
-
“a personal website or web page on which an individual records opinions, links to other sites, etc. on a regular basis.”
Yet it is so much more, a blog becomes part of you, a special part of your life an extension of your personality. If done in the right spirit it can fill you with added joy and happiness.
Each of you in your own unique way has definitely added more joy and happiness to my life. When you take the time to read and comment on my posts, write your own uplifting and informational posts – take beautiful photographs and fashionable attire, you open your home and hearts to others…and all of this makes my life brighter.

Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
When I first started blogging it was just an outlet for me but with each “Like” and “Comment” it became more and more a part of me. There is no greater feeling than to be recognized and awarded for what you do, but when it comes from your own, it’s truly a blessing.
This past summer and also on Monday I was nominated for a few Blogger Awards but was remiss in acknowledging them, so on this Thankful Thursday, I am doing so.
Beauty Vancouver you TAGGED me in a “Would Your Rather, Beauty Edition. I promise to give my answers, but at my age, I won’t give away too many secrets!
Forever Fitting In presented me with The Sunshine Award and you know how I feel about God’s Gift of Light! I promise to answer all 11 10 questions because I will never reveal “how many pairs of shoes I have”!
Flourishing at Home, thank you so much for the Liebster Award. I’ll answer all 11, 10 of your questions, all except #7, you might think I’m crazy because I’m still trying to catch up on the reading of my 2010 magazines!
