Today started out a bit rainy and overcast but temps are supposed to rise with bright sunshine heading into the evening commute.
The polka dot shirt was thrifted from Goodwill and started out as a size 2x. I sew so I never let sizes deter me from making a purchase and I had been searching for a black and white polka dot top. With help from hubby who pinned the sides so that I could cut and sew it, it’s now a better fitting size large. I wore a Fedora instead of carrying an umbrella which is such a pain when walking only a few feet into the office from the parking lot.

I’ve had these black, ballerina slippers for several years and kept them in the laundry room only to wear them out to get the mail.
I changed the color, added some polka dots and now I will wear them further than just to the mail box.
Stuffed plastic grocery bags inside
Used can of Rust-OLeum Spray Paint
Sprayed 1st coat in the garage - allowed to dry overnight
Sprayed 2nd coat in garage - allowed to dry overnight
Completely dry
Once the shoes were completely dried, I used white fabric paint and a pencil eraser to make the polka dots.
Dip eraser lightly into fabric paint
