Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday.
Today is Tayair’s first day of work – Yay, Congratulations and welcome to the wonderful world of adulthood! He was hired as a seasonal employee for Amazon.com and will be packing those wonderful holiday gifts being shipped from Delaware.
Today is also “Preppy Day” at Appo High School and here’s Malik’s version of being preppy.
Today was also the first time I used the tripod and timer and I must admit that it’s harder smiling for a camera when there is no one behind it – lol

Let the Holiday Shopping Begin with a Party!!!!
I absolutely love my Miche’ (MEE-CHEE) Bag so I decided to host an online party and everyone is invited!
The conception of these bags which is one of those “why didn’t I think of that” moments began in 2004, with a spill. Instead of exchanging all the contents inside one bag to another you just change the exterior of the purse. The purse styles and interchangeable options are extensive including straps and accessories. Shipping is also quick, I ordered mine on a Saturday and it arrived on my door step Wednesday.
I think I will wear these two prints for the months of November and December and then order two more for the Spring

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday. Now before you begin…I know…these tights look horrendous with this outfit! Yes, I did look in the mirror and Yes, I tried on several pairs of shoes before settling on this pair but I walked out of the house like this anyway! Oh well, I’ll chalk it up to a “never wear this combo again” hmmm, maybe should have worn flesh tone hose instead…

Hello friends and Happy Monday. Today we celebrate Veterans Day and I salute all active and inactive members of the armed forces as well as remembering those who are no longer with us.
THANK YOU!
I have yet to set up the camera on the tripod and use the timer so I don’t have an full picture of today’s outfit. I simply paired a white top and black slacks with a black and white blazer thrifted from Goodwill. I threw on a pair of black leather clogs which never go out of style and are comfortable any time of the year.

Hello friends and Happy Sunday – be blessed today and always!
What a beautiful day, it’s amazing how good you feel when sunshine bathes your face especially after a long week! I hadn’t been to church in over a month so I was up bright and early this morning even with another dull headache.
Today’s outfit is totally thrifted, sleeveless LBD and Houndstooth blazer from Goodwill and Carlos Santana leather pumps from the Salvation Army.

Hello friends and happy Saturday. Yesterday I left work early because I got really ill after eating a sample of pasta salad from Primo Hoagies. My head was spinning so badly that I didn’t think I would make it home. I did however, with a lot of prayer and by keeping my head steady and firmly pressed against the head rest. Because I rarely if ever get sick I always think the worst, this time a brain tumor or aneurysm came to mind – I know! I feel better but still have a dull headache which doesn’t seem to want to go away even with several Alleve capsules.
This morning I had my annual eye appointment and chose to have the full comprehensive Optomap and refraction exam to rule out any constricted blood vessels or major changes to my vision. Everything was normal and although I still have to wear glasses my vision got better, not worse. I took over 30 minutes, tried on more than 12 pairs looking for just the right frame to ensure I would wear the glasses as prescribed.
After leaving Halpern Eye Care I drove to Family Dollar for cleaning and beauty supplies. I got the normal items, PineSol, Gain detergent, cotton balls, tooth brushes and tooth paste but what caught my eye were the 3 displays perched high above the other beauty supplies – Sally Hansen, Kiss and Fingr’s nail decals. The Kiss and Fingr’s nail decals were clearly marked $3., but there wasn’t a price listed on the Sally Hansen products. Having bought Salon effects from both Walmart and Walgreens they are normally priced $8.50, so thinking they were at least that price I only put one box in my basket. At the register they rang up $5.00 which is a fantastic price, I will now search for coupons for my next purchase at Family Dollar.
