Indian Fashion Boutique

If you’ve read the July issue of People Style Watch or any other fashion magazine you’ll see articles about ways to dress up T shirts and tanks with statement pieces. I discovered an Indian Boutique in New Castle that carries some really nice items with reasonable prices. I purchased two pairs of earrings and toe rings which were placed in a box as opposed to a plastic shopping bag which was a nice touch. The boutique also carries Indian designed dresses, scarves and shoes but the jewelry is the true deal, currently 40% off select items. OOTD – Tropical Punch

Once again we have been blessed with a beautiful, sunny day and to top it off it’s FRI-YAY!! Traffic this morning heading north was light because most people are heading south to the Jersey Shore – thank you my friends!! This afternoon I may not be so lucky with the south bound traffic heading to the Delaware beaches. Where ever you are headed this weekend I hope that you have a fan-tas-tical, fun in the sun time with tropical drinks that have tiny little umbrellas in them – be safe my friends!!

Easy Breezy Crockpot Meal

Tonight’s easy breezy crockpot meal contained only 5 ingredients

Chicken legs w thighs// mushrooms // stewed tomatoes // tomato paste // McCormick Italian Herb Seasoning

I used a crockpot liner to make clean up easier then put chicken and mushrooms into crockpot.

Mixed seasoning, tomatoes, and paste.

Poured mixture over the chicken and mushrooms, covered and cooked on high for 4 hours. I was home today but if I had gone to work I would have set it on low to cook for 8 hours.

OOTD – Flower Power

April, May and June Showers brings Spring Flowers!

The floral dress has me blending into the beautiful greenery of Spring, so I guess all those rain showers were worth it! I simply adore this dress which was recently purchased from Charmingly Linda’s Consignment Shop, and I think the beaded bracelet adds to the 60’s retro look.

Giant Savings

Sunday instead of grocery shopping at Food Lion I went to Giant because I needed a service from PNC and Food Lion doesn’t have an in store bank. I do like Giant but like it’s name they have giant deals that oftentimes causes me to overspend. They also offer .05 cent off for each reusable bag and I have a trunk full of them; they double coupons up to .99 cents and the best incentive of all is the Shell Gas Rewards Points. Yesterday I found a few good deals using coupons and my Rewards card as well as receiving 638 gas points, I may have to stick with a list and shop there more often.

Marshalls' Shoe Sale

I popped into Marshalls on Friday evening to get a reprieve from the traffic on 202 South.  I had a pair of shoes that I needed to return and spent a few extra minutes checking out and taking pics of the latest styles.  I returned the 1 pair and purchased 2 but only spent $7.98.
