A few Saturdays ago my son drove me to the Middletown Goodwill so that I could donate a box of clothing and electronics. He’s still working on his 50 hours of supervised drive time as per the state’s Graduated Licensing Program and I enjoyed being chauffeured.
Of course after I donated in the back we went to the front for a little shopping!

I’ve been dying to wear this dress since I ordered it in March from Avon and when the weather turned hot I was afraid that I would have to wait until the Fall. Today’s weather is rainy and cool, a perfect day to wear long sleeve and I love how they fall below my wrists.

The weather today was fantastic so after doing a few chores in the house I was outside for the rest of the day.

Today’s outfit includes a two piece, stripped Sag Harbor top and jacket courtesy of my grandmother. When she passed in 2009, I donated most of her clothes and accessories, however, there were a few pieces that I held onto. This two piece will always remind me of her and her good taste in clothing!
Long black shirt was thrifted from Goodwill and has a zipper that brings the slit thigh high – I chose to keep it decent for work – lol.
