Hello Friends and Happy Monday, I hope you had an enjoyable weekend.
I had an online weekend…reading and commenting on Blogs…updating status’…tweeting….Instagraming…Sverving…and…creating a Facebook Campaign, “Bloggers4JCPenney“. There were several bloggers who liked the concept and submitted their posts, I hope you’ll check it out and do the same.
Saturday, I received my first Influenster VOXBOX, and will be posting a review later this week. Sunday, I went to church, wore green and cooked CornBeef, Cabbage and Potatoes for St. Patty’s Day. Tomorrow #1 son has an interview at Bank of America, he and I will be meeting his DVR job coach at 1:00. The job market is tough made even more so when you have a disability so please say a little prayer for him.
We were all hoping for another warm weekend but it seems like ‘ole Man Winter is back for one last hurrah! Wednesday is officially the first day of Spring so I’m mixing in a little bright colors with today’s all black outfit.
Are you planning a special “1st Day of Spring” outfit or will you wait until it gets warmer?
Getting ready for the warmer and brighter days of Spring!

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday.
I hope you had a nice weekend and that your Monday was productive and stress free.
My weekend was nice starting with attending the C.O.D.E. Conference on Saturday, which was an awesome event for small business owners. Does your city or state provide free conferences or seminars for the advancement of their small business owners?
Sunday I didn’t attend church instead lounged around getting some much needed R&R and then afternoon shopping with my son which was a rare treat for me, he’s at the age when being with mom is not cool. I remember praying for a boy each time I was pregnant, but sometimes I wish I had a girl to shop with especially now that my grandmother is no longer with me. She and I loved to hang out…shopping for bargains…eating out …laughing…just having fun…I really miss her, which is why I started blogging.
This morning I heard birds chirping and the weather has been so mild. With little to no significant snow I’m hoping Mother Nature isn’t trying to lull us into a false sense of “it’s Spring”! Remember the catch phrase, “it’s not nice to fool Mother Nature”, well I hope she reciprocates.
Today I am wearing the Posh.mina that I reviewed (here) last month and because it’s one of my favorite colors it will definitely become a closet staple in high rotation.
Skirt – GW Boutique // Top – Boscov’s // Chinese Laundry Pumps // DSW
The screen was purchased a few years ago from Pier 1
Necklace – Flea Market Vendor // Coral Pearl Ring – Enjeanious By Rean // Earrings and Bracelets – Jewelrybox // Watch (large) – Avon // Watch (small) belonged to my grandmother and I wear it everyday
Linking up today with Style Statement Tuesday – hop over and meet a new blogger
Have a fantastical afternoon – Smooches!

Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay !
In the early 2000’s, I had a job that permitted me to work from home on Fridays and I enjoyed dressing down in jeans and slippers. I no longer have that job nor the luxury of working from home on Fridays, but it hasn’t stopped me from dressing down in jeans and slippers shoes!
I am almost head to toe Mossimo, even having a little fun changing the footwear this morning. These shoes are part of my Target haul (here) and I want you to guess which pair made it to work today.
The cardigan sweater is from Ross and accessories from my jewelry box.
Which ones would you have chosen, the embellished flats or the Cap Toe heels?
Oh, BTW, this is the first time attempting a serious pattern mix – what do you think – Yay or Nay??
Have a fantabulous weekend!!

February 9th is the 1st year Blogiversary of DeDivahDeals!
I began my journey on Blogspot.com with this post (here) …BORING…a single picture of two bottles of Sally Hansen nail polish and 3 packs of Salon effects clearly marked for clearance from Walgreens…no descriptions…nothing…comments…none…just crickets – oh what a difference a year makes.
The first post to receive a comment and a “like“ was 40 days later, “Goodwill Deals – Gucci from the 90’s” from Lesley Carter of Bucket List Publications and my girlfriend Wanda, that stroked my ego so I continued purchasing and posting.
As time progressed I read and learned more and found my niche, but more importantly I realized the most rewarding aspect of blogging was the interaction between great virtual friends and followers.
In your own way, each of you have touched my heart and filled a void in such a glorious way that I could never truly express how I feel, so please accept my heart felt THANK YOU…a SMOOCH…and this big ole bag of MONEY…spend it wisely!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 11,000 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 18 years to get that many views.

On Saturday, The Home Based Business Chamber of Commerce hosted a Holiday Open House at The Java House Cafe in Middletown, DE. In attendance were small business owners representing Gold Canyon Candles; Mary Kay; MICHE Bags; Jacfred Creation; Logan Insurance; touchpro; Girl Friday; Duct Tape Accessories; Slumber Parties and Send Out Cards. The Java House Cafe provided mini Jerk Chicken, Veggie and Turkey Panini sandwiches as customers shopped and mingled.
Delaware’s state slogan “A Small Wonder“, was fitting for this event as it was a small gathering, however, I see the potential for rapid increased growth due to the hard work and diligence of President, Jaimie Shanklin. The Chamber’s 2nd Annual Holiday Extravaganza is being held Sunday, November 25th, at the Executive Banquet Center in Newark, DE. Holiday shopping and a live performance by Best Kept Soul is sure to bring out more people from throughout the state.
For more information on The Home Based Business Chamber of Commerce (Delmarva Chapter), please contact Jaimie Shanklin, 302-784-5311, or visit www.homebasedbusinesschamber.com.

Hello Friends and Happy Monday. I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend with a chance to relax. If you follow me on Instagram or Foursquare you know that I spent mine cleaning out desk drawers, shopping at Costco, Walmart and upgrading my Blackberry to a Smartphone at Radio Shack. This morning I spent way too much time trying to decide on a belt and eventually settled on one that I’ve had since college, sometimes it pays to keep things.
Remember when I purchased the the pencil skirt and top from Target (here). The shoes and cami were purchased at Ross.

Playing around on a late Friday afternoon with Pixl and PicMonkey photo editing, it’s amazing what you can do with a picture.
