OOTD – Two-Toned Tuesday
Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday!
Today we reflect on what would have been the 84th Birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a great man…can you imagine what might have been had he lived?
RIP Dr. King
The tone of the day is drab and dreary not only does it describe the weather it’s also reflective of today’s outfit – black and brown
Mudd Boots – Value City or Burlington Coat Factory // Skirt and Mock top – GW Boutique // Animal Print cardigan – Ross // Necklace and Animal Print Bracelet – Flea Market Vendors // Brass Earrings and Bracelet – jewelry box
I hope you have a fantabulous afternoon – Smooches!
OOTD – Don't Step on my Blue Suede Shoes!
Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay!
This morning I jumped out of bed when I realized it was Friday….tomorrow I can sleep in – yay! I am such a sleepy head, I never get enough sleep – sometimes I am tired of being tired. Commuting back and forth to work 1 & 1/2 hours each way every day really takes a toll on me and my car. Tomorrow I am sleeping in until noon!!!
How many of you remember Elvis Presley’s hit, Blue Suede Shoes – well this is my version of the shoe, actually booties and they are much nicer than what he sang about. If you do remember Elvis, what was your favorite song or movie, I liked Blue Hawaii.
These blue studded booties by Bamboo were purchased several years ago from Burlington Coat Factory and the skinny jeans were $16.44, from “Wally World” (Walmart). They had several different colors and I may have to get another pair because of the fit. I chose 1 size up because they are low riders, but I think I can get away with a pair in my regular size. The sleeveless tank was purchased on clearance from Boscov’s, and the jacket was thrifted from GW Boutique (Goodwill). Silver cuff bracelet from Citi Trend, rings and earrings from my jewelry box.
Wednesday, my son’s Business Class went on a Field Trip to Macy’s in NYC, he purchased a pair of Nike Sneakers and this T-Shirt which I thought was really nice. I can’t wait until he no longer wants it because I’d love to wear it!

OOTD – 500th Post
Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
In less than 1 year I have written 500 blog posts. In all honesty when I first started DeDivahDeals I didn’t write much, I still don’t, but according to my WordPress stats this is my 500th post!
cue the fireworks and confetti drop
500 posts is not a cause for a big celebration but next month on my 1st year Blogiversary it will be so get your party clothes ready!
Woot Woot!!
These Madden Girl pumps are my favorite shoes, not only are they comfortable but the Polka Dot bows remind me of Betty Boop and who doesn’t love that 1930’s PinUp Girl?

OOTD – Sunday Shopping
Hello friends and Happy Sunday I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are anxiously looking forward to next week. This year we are not having a big Thanksgiving dinner because my son has to work and my mother-in- law is hospitalized battling intestinal cancer.
I ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers during this time, thank you.
Although we are not having a big Thanksgiving dinner I still needed to grocery shop and today it wasn’t a chore. I did however, feel sorry for some running around quickly filling their carts like crazy spending way too much!
My casual attire along with my casual attitude allowed me to better compare prices, use a lot of coupons and save a little money.

OOTD – October Orange
Hello friends and Happy FRI-YAY!!! The beginning of a new month and the end of Daylight Savings Time so don’t forget to FALL back an hour when setting your clocks Saturday night, you don’t want to show up too early for church – lol. This is going to be another busy weekend starting Saturday morning at the Dutch Country Farmers Market and then to a Holiday Open House at The Java House Cafe in Middletown. Sunday morning I will again be up early to go to Chester, PA to do some phone banking for President Obama’s 2012 reelection Campaign.
The color of this shirt was perfect in October for Halloween but it does brighten up a somewhat dreary November Friday.

OOTD – Shifting Gears
Hello friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday. I am still playing catch up after a busy yet fun filled 3 day-weekend. I was off on Friday so after my mammogram I went to the nail salon and then to Rugged Wearhouse for gear to wear to Sunday’s Breast Cancer Awareness walk. Saturday was Homecoming at my Alma Mater Delaware State University, the classes of the ’80’s were in full force, I saw people that I hadn’t seen since graduating in 1983. The icing on the cake was the beautiful weather for the entire weekend – God is truly good!
