Do you remember my previous post about the clearance sales at JC Penney? Did you go? If not, I suggest you go there as soon as you can. Today I went back to return the $5 skirt and ended up getting 2 more, a Worthington black and white tweet and a pencil skirt; a patterned scoop neck top and a Comfort Revolution sports bra for a grand total of $12.00!
There are $3/$5/$10/$12 and $14 clearance racks in every department, men/women and children clothing, jewelry, accessories, shoes, purses, lingerie, housewares, etc. If you need a last minute Valentine’s Day gift, get to the mall with a quickness because you will definitely get more for your money!
These pics were taken when I stopped in last month.

Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday
It’s the day before Valentine’s Day, do you have anything special planned…will Cupid be shooting any arrows your way? I’ve never been big on V-Day and prefer to get my candy the day after when it’s half price – lol Hubby and I may go out to dinner Friday night and I bought my sons a card and some candy from Dollar Tree, otherwise nothing special. I guess when you are single and dating, Valentine’s Day is more of a Holiday, but I tell my men everyday that I love them and the 14th of February will be no different.
I am still wearing red in honor of “America Goes Red for Women” month and will wear a wee bit more tomorrow.
We are expecting snow but not until this evening so I decided to wear my grey, suede booties to pick up the color in the shirt.
These Bamboo faux fur trimmed booties were purchased a few years ago from Burlington Coat Factory and despite their “ugliness”, they are quite comfortable.
Necklace – New York & Company // Rhinestone Buttefly Ring – Icings // Top – Old Navy // Skirt – Boscov’s // watch – Avon
I must admit that I am looking forward to eating a least a piece of chocolate tomorrow!

Hello Friends and Happy Fat Tuesday -aka- Mardi Gras
The sun is shining and I am sure the revelers in New Orleans are having a fantastic time partying and parading!
I’m wearing my favorite colorful scarf from Target to break up the black and blue but couldn’t decide on the shoes.
These patent leather Mossimo heels were part of a end-of-the-summer Target Shoe haul.
I also got them in blue, pink and yellow!
I love this infinity scarf and I am going to get some fabric to make a few more before the season changes.
Pants and top – closet staples
Which pair looked better – the black or blue?

Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
When I saw this top at Goodwill I knew I had to get it because of all the colors, it would work with almost anything in my closet. There was just one slight problem…it’s very low cut in the front and I knew hubby would not let me out of the house in it.
It just hung in my closet…that was until yesterday after reading a post by a fellow blogger, Jean of all Trades…I am now wearing it backwards!!!
I am glad that I kept the shirt but more importantly, I am thankful for bloggers who come up with great ways to re-fashion clothing and jewelry! This necklace was a $1.00 find at the Flea Market and I used nail polish to give the stones some color.
Skirt /GW Boutique (Goodwill) // Blazer – Chadwicks // Shoes & Purse – closet staples
Remember those cute kids from the ’90’s group, Kriss Kross, they wore their clothes backwards too – everything old is new again!

Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday
It’s mid-week, the temps are rising and the sun will be shining – all is good in the neighborhood! Dark and dreary days really take a toll on the mind and body, which is not good when trying to lose weight. I need to step up my Zumba workouts and cut back on the carbs so that my clothes fit better…this skirt is tight!
Does the weather or seasons affect your weight?
Watch – Traci Lynn // Bracelet – Flea Market Vendor // Ring – Avon // Earrings – Icings
Both the skirt and top were thrifted from GW Boutique (Goodwill). The top was made in Hong Kong and has a very unique design with the metal rectangles sewn onto the front.
Wearing my “Betty Boop” Polka Dot Pumps from Ross
Changed dark tights for nude tone pantyhose and added scarf
Black & White Tight!
Have a fantabulous afternoon – Smooches!

Hello Friends, I hope your day is going well.
Today I am really dragging and this energy drink is not doing a thing!
Today’s outfit is made up of all closet staples with the Neiman Marcus geometric shirt being the oldest – circa 1980’s
Have a fantabulous afternoon – Smooches!

I’m not sure if you’ve seen an Avon catalog lately and if not, here’s just a taste of what you’ve been missing. As an Independent Sales Rep for Avon for over 15 years I’ve seen many changes all of them good. Avon is a company that has been in business for 125 years and has changed with the times without sacrificing the quality of their products, however, it is no longer your grandmother’s Avon – check it out.
