OOTD – Traci Lynn Thursday

Hello friends and Happy Thursday, I hope you are having a productive and stress free day.  This is the eve of yet another busy 3-day weekend but I’ll get to sleep in late on Sunday even though I should go to church!  I am wearing a watch that I purchased Saturday at Del State’s Homecoming from a Traci Lynn Consultant and I love it!

#31dayremix on Instagram, trying to wear as many warm weather clothes before the hawk and snowflakes make their appearance.

OOTD – Shifting Gears

Hello friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday.  I am still playing catch up after a busy yet fun filled 3 day-weekend.  I was off on Friday so after my mammogram I went to the nail salon and then to Rugged Wearhouse for gear to wear to Sunday’s Breast Cancer Awareness walk.  Saturday was Homecoming at my Alma Mater Delaware State University, the classes of the ’80’s were in full force, I saw people that I hadn’t seen since graduating in 1983.  The icing on the cake was the beautiful weather for the entire weekend – God is truly good!

OOTD – Corporate Casual

Hello friends and Happy Tuesday.  Fall is in full effect even though there are a few 70 degree days on the horizon, today is just not one of them.  I’m wearing a Jones New York blazer, one of the many thifted from Goodwill, a pair of  plain black pants and a multi-color top.  The shoes were purchased last season from Kmart and are so comfortable that I also bought them in grey.

OOTD – Popping Pink

Hello friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday.  Like the sun that will be popping through the clouds this afternoon, I am popping a little pink with black.  Black Boots or Pink Pumps was the  dilemma this morning and I am not going to reveal which one I chose.  Tell me which one you like better?

OOTD – Toeless Tuesday

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday.  Today’s outfit is titled “Toeless Tuesday” because socks are covering my tootsies for the first time in a long time.  I hadn’t planned on wearing socks this early in the season but a change in weather made a change in my mind.  I wore these combat-like boots at the end of September but it was sans socks.

Drizzling rain and colder temps had me putting on a new pair of socks, stripped grey and black purchased from Payless.  Earlier in the year they were on sale, 2 pair for $2.00, I love shopping off season for the best prices.  The black and white sweater blazer was thrifted last season from Goodwill and it’s covering a sleeveless top from Marshalls. (in case of a flash) .  The black pants are a closet staple but must be worn with boots otherwise, it looks like I’m walking in a flash flood!

Hello Friends and Happy Monday.  If you are on the east coast you woke up to a brrrrr…..chilly morning.  I love the cool, crispness of the season, windows cracked open and covers pulled over my head is the best way to sleep!  Today’s outfit is a faux suede maxi thrifted from Goodwill, multi print top from Ross and pumps from Rugged Wearhouse.

Successful Saturday

Hello friends and Happy Sunday. Today is a lazy-do-nothing-but relax day because it’s cold and rainy. I did wash the kitchen floor which has been on my to-do list for over a month. The weekend is over but tomorrow schools are closed as well as many businesses however, I will be working.

Saturday was a successful day, I made $85.00, selling at Dutch Country Farmers Flea Market. Sold clothing, shoes, household items and Halloween decorations from $1.00 to $5.00. The sons helped me set up and stayed the entire time. I donated to Goodwill several boxes of summer clothing and decorations that did not sell. The weather started out cool but warmed up nicely and the people were friendly so overall it was a good day.

Once home I had to get ready to go to Dover to meet my cousins for dinner. They had arrived earlier on a bus trip from New Rochelle to Dover Downs. I am not a big slots player and didn’t want to lose the $85.00, so only played 3 slot machines and lost $15.00. My cousins broke even and we went to dinner at Olive Garden. I love the cold salads and warm bread and did not overdo it with the pasta. Just as my day started, it ended equally well because I was home before 8:00 and my cousin called at midnight she was at work, I wish I had half her energy!
