GW Boutique 50% Off Sale

Hello friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday, I hope you are having a productive and stress free day.  Last Saturday at GW Boutique aka Goodwill there was a 50% off all clothing sale.  I had thrifted the day before on Black Friday and saw a jacket that I liked, however, didn’t want to pay $8.00.  I decided to wait and if it was there the next day it was meant to be, it was as well as a few other items that are perfect to wear to work.

Polka Dot Black Friday

Hello Friends and Happy Cyber Monday, are you shopping online today?  There are a few items that I’d like to get but nothing major so I think I’ll wait until this evening or perhaps even after the holidays for deeper discounts.  On Black Friday I didn’t go to the mall instead I went to GW Boutique (Goodwill) in Middletown, it wasn’t crowded so I was able to take my time to find a few items knowing that I would return Saturday for the 50% off sale.

OOTD – Thanksgiving Eve

Hello friends and Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

I had to work today – BOO – I get to dress casually – YAY – I get to leave early – DOUBLE YAY!

I am wishing you and  your families a very happy and safe Thanksgiving weekend and I do hope that you all enjoy being together with people that you love or just like a little bit

OOTD – Thrifted & Target Tuesday

Hello friends and Happy Tuesday before Thanksgiving

Yesterday, after work I met with two representatives from The Money School of Delaware.  They had read my post, “From Purses to Portfolios” and were so impressed that they offered me an opportunity to create their blog as well as host various training webinars.  Attending events and writing about women’s issues mixed with the fashion and savings was exactly where I wanted to take this blog.  Now that this has come to fruition so quickly I want to thank God for I am truly blessed and look forward to working with some great people at The Money School.

I will keep you posted as to when it goes live because it will be separate from my dedivahdeals blog.

OOTD- Shooting Solo

Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday.

Today is Tayair’s first day of work  – Yay, Congratulations and welcome to the wonderful world of adulthood!  He was hired as a seasonal employee for Amazon.com and will be packing those wonderful holiday gifts being shipped from Delaware.

Today is also “Preppy Day” at Appo High School and here’s Malik’s version of being preppy.

Today was also the first time I used the tripod and timer and I must admit that it’s harder smiling for a camera when there is no one behind it – lol

OOTD – Shopping my Son’s Closet

Hello friends and Happy Fri-Yay!

I don’t know about you but I feel drained and exhausted – events leading up to and the final day of 2012 Election really wore me out – thank God it’s over!!!!  It was especially nice driving to work this morning without seeing the negative anti-Obama signs and billboards.  I hope they got their money’s worth because I never saw it from the Dems and we were victorious.

 Last week my youngest son cleaned out his closet and gave me clothes that he no longer wanted to be donated.  This black and beige argyle sweater was a gift to him last year and now I have it back.  He definitely won’t be getting any new sweaters from me this year!
