Hello Friends, I hope you had a great day.
It’s late and I just finished up a TweetChat (#TBW). I didn’t think I would post this until tomorrow because I couldn’t think of an outfit title. Here are a few that popped into my head but none seem right, help me name this outfit so I can go to sleep!

Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay !
In the early 2000’s, I had a job that permitted me to work from home on Fridays and I enjoyed dressing down in jeans and slippers. I no longer have that job nor the luxury of working from home on Fridays, but it hasn’t stopped me from dressing down in jeans and slippers shoes!

I am almost head to toe Mossimo, even having a little fun changing the footwear this morning. These shoes are part of my Target haul (here) and I want you to guess which pair made it to work today.

The cardigan sweater is from Ross and accessories from my jewelry box.

Which ones would you have chosen, the embellished flats or the Cap Toe heels?

Oh, BTW, this is the first time attempting a serious pattern mix – what do you think – Yay or Nay??

Have a fantabulous weekend!!

Hello Friends, I hope you are having a terrific Tuesday.
It appears as though everyone is back to work because the commute was slow and I drove even slower trying to save gas. Can you believe the prices, I last paid $3.65 for a gallon and it’s goes up a few cents every day. How much is it in your area?
My commute is 100 miles round trip and it is definitely putting a dent in my wallet, so to save money I have vowed not to shop until April when the prices are supposed to drop. The economic recovery is no where near where it should be and these gas prices aren’t helping! Before my self imposed shopping freeze I was able to snag two skirts from JC Penney’s for $5 each and am wearing one of them with a thrifted top and blazer.

Liz Claiborne Collection Skirt – JC Penney // Oxblood Top – GW Boutique (Goodwill) // Black Blazer – GW Boutique
Necklace and Earrings – Payless // Ring – Avon // Hose – Walmart
The Merona pumps were part of the clearance shoe haul from Target.

Hello Friends and Happy Fat Tuesday -aka- Mardi Gras
The sun is shining and I am sure the revelers in New Orleans are having a fantastic time partying and parading!
I’m wearing my favorite colorful scarf from Target to break up the black and blue but couldn’t decide on the shoes.

These patent leather Mossimo heels were part of a end-of-the-summer Target Shoe haul.
I also got them in blue, pink and yellow!

I love this infinity scarf and I am going to get some fabric to make a few more before the season changes.

Pants and top – closet staples
Which pair looked better – the black or blue?

This is the “Year of The Snake” and I hope you all have good fortune and happiness!
In honor of this traditional Chinese celebration I have included snake jewelry and python prints in today’s outfit.
Today is another rainy and dreary day but at least we dodged a snowstorm and a tornado so there are no complaints here!
Skirt – GW Boutique (Goodwill) // Top – Kmart // Mossimo Shoes – Target // Watch and Ring – Avon // Necklace and Earrings – jewelrymax.net
I had a few Avon deliveries today.
Have a fantabulous afternoon!

Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
When I saw this top at Goodwill I knew I had to get it because of all the colors, it would work with almost anything in my closet. There was just one slight problem…it’s very low cut in the front and I knew hubby would not let me out of the house in it.
It just hung in my closet…that was until yesterday after reading a post by a fellow blogger, Jean of all Trades…I am now wearing it backwards!!!

I am glad that I kept the shirt but more importantly, I am thankful for bloggers who come up with great ways to re-fashion clothing and jewelry! This necklace was a $1.00 find at the Flea Market and I used nail polish to give the stones some color.
Skirt /GW Boutique (Goodwill) // Blazer – Chadwicks // Shoes & Purse – closet staples
Remember those cute kids from the ’90’s group, Kriss Kross, they wore their clothes backwards too – everything old is new again!

Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday
It’s mid-week, the temps are rising and the sun will be shining – all is good in the neighborhood! Dark and dreary days really take a toll on the mind and body, which is not good when trying to lose weight. I need to step up my Zumba workouts and cut back on the carbs so that my clothes fit better…this skirt is tight!
Does the weather or seasons affect your weight?
Watch – Traci Lynn // Bracelet – Flea Market Vendor // Ring – Avon // Earrings – Icings
Both the skirt and top were thrifted from GW Boutique (Goodwill). The top was made in Hong Kong and has a very unique design with the metal rectangles sewn onto the front.
Wearing my “Betty Boop” Polka Dot Pumps from Ross
Changed dark tights for nude tone pantyhose and added scarf
Black & White Tight!
Have a fantabulous afternoon – Smooches!
