Hello Friends and Happy Valentines Day 2013!
OOTD – Red Roses~Hearts & Chocolate Greetings
Hello Friends and Happy Valentines Day 2013!
I’m sending you a virtual rose, a loving heart and a chocolate kiss!
I don’t spend a lot of money for Valentine’s Day, and every year my men know to only expect a small box of chocolates and a card at their table setting. They reciprocate but include a dozen red roses, and when the boys were younger the card would be homemade and I have even kept a few – somewhere.
Everyday I kiss and tell my hubby and sons that I love them and today will be no different, but I do like the significance of this holiday and enjoy wearing red (and eating candy). However, this morning I had a difficult time deciding on my outfit, first changing my skirt and then the shoes and scarves.
Which scarf and shoes do you like better?

OOTD – Pre V-Day Wednesday
Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday
It’s the day before Valentine’s Day, do you have anything special planned…will Cupid be shooting any arrows your way? I’ve never been big on V-Day and prefer to get my candy the day after when it’s half price – lol Hubby and I may go out to dinner Friday night and I bought my sons a card and some candy from Dollar Tree, otherwise nothing special. I guess when you are single and dating, Valentine’s Day is more of a Holiday, but I tell my men everyday that I love them and the 14th of February will be no different.
I am still wearing red in honor of “America Goes Red for Women” month and will wear a wee bit more tomorrow.
We are expecting snow but not until this evening so I decided to wear my grey, suede booties to pick up the color in the shirt.
These Bamboo faux fur trimmed booties were purchased a few years ago from Burlington Coat Factory and despite their “ugliness”, they are quite comfortable.
Necklace – New York & Company // Rhinestone Buttefly Ring – Icings // Top – Old Navy // Skirt – Boscov’s // watch – Avon
I must admit that I am looking forward to eating a least a piece of chocolate tomorrow!

OOTD – Black & Blue Fat Tuesday
Hello Friends and Happy Fat Tuesday -aka- Mardi Gras
The sun is shining and I am sure the revelers in New Orleans are having a fantastic time partying and parading!
I’m wearing my favorite colorful scarf from Target to break up the black and blue but couldn’t decide on the shoes.
These patent leather Mossimo heels were part of a end-of-the-summer Target Shoe haul.
I also got them in blue, pink and yellow!
I love this infinity scarf and I am going to get some fabric to make a few more before the season changes.
Pants and top – closet staples
Which pair looked better – the black or blue?

OOTD – Happy Chinese New Year
Hello Friends and Happy Chinese New Year!
This is the “Year of The Snake” and I hope you all have good fortune and happiness!
In honor of this traditional Chinese celebration I have included snake jewelry and python prints in today’s outfit.
Today is another rainy and dreary day but at least we dodged a snowstorm and a tornado so there are no complaints here!
Skirt – GW Boutique (Goodwill) // Top – Kmart // Mossimo Shoes – Target // Watch and Ring – Avon // Necklace and Earrings – jewelrymax.net
I had a few Avon deliveries today.

OOTD – Casual Friday
Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay!
To all my friends in the New England territory I hope you are ready for the Nor’easter and that you’ll stay safe indoors this weekend. I’m sure there will be several changes and cancellations of events for New York’s Fashion Week activities. The parade in New Rochelle that was scheduled Saturday to celebrate Ray Rice and The Ravens’ Super Bowl win was postponed until March 2nd.
We are getting rain with a chance of flurries beginning around midnight with little to no accumulation I don’t mind snowstorms that occur on the weekends late a night because we are safe indoors and not on the road with the crazies.
My son wasn’t too happy taking the pics this morning which is puzzling because I was the one standing out in the rain!
I was playing around with the photo editing with PhotoScape which I like better than PicMonkey and Pixl.
Today for Casual Friday I am channeling my inner MJ with the Fedora and Mary Tyler Moore throwing it into the air but those pics didn’t come out too well!
Outfit today are all closet staples, blue skinny jeans , cardigan and striped top // Pashima – Boscov’s // Mossimo boots thrifted new – GW Boutique (Goodwill) // Arm Candy and Rings – jewelry box

OOTD – Turnaround Thursday
Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
When I saw this top at Goodwill I knew I had to get it because of all the colors, it would work with almost anything in my closet. There was just one slight problem…it’s very low cut in the front and I knew hubby would not let me out of the house in it.
It just hung in my closet…that was until yesterday after reading a post by a fellow blogger, Jean of all Trades…I am now wearing it backwards!!!
I am glad that I kept the shirt but more importantly, I am thankful for bloggers who come up with great ways to re-fashion clothing and jewelry! This necklace was a $1.00 find at the Flea Market and I used nail polish to give the stones some color.
Skirt /GW Boutique (Goodwill) // Blazer – Chadwicks // Shoes & Purse – closet staples
Remember those cute kids from the ’90’s group, Kriss Kross, they wore their clothes backwards too – everything old is new again!
