Hello Friends and Happy

Do you remember the last time Powerball reached record levels?
Do you remember this post when it was 1/2 Billion dollars?
http://wp.me/p2klje-1WO
I would probably pass out, fall down, bump my head and end up with amnesia never knowing I won – lol!
What you would you do with $400 Million Dollars?
The jackpot is now an estimated $425Million which will only increase as the day progresses!
Even if you don’t win, you can be winner in knowing that some of the proceeds are helping to fund schools and Senior Centers in your state, but remember, “You Gotta Be In It To Win It!
Good luck & have a fantabulous day – Smooches!

No offense to @PennyChic but this prize is much better than the XOXO Sunglasses that I won two weeks ago!!!! The amazing thing is, this is the most I’ve ever won at any given time in my entire life – I better play Powerball this month too!
I started watching Eye Opener on Phl17 about a month ago because it was enjoyable news – an oxymoron, but true. I often wondered if I was too “old” to be watching Marlie Hall, Sean, Danielle, Oliver and Nerissa in the morning as opposed to the anchors on NBC10 and The Today Show, but after seeing Larry Mendte and Rose, I knew I wasn’t because they are older than me – sorry guys! It is refreshing to watch a news program that not only provides the latest local and national news and weather but also info on beauty, fashion, food, drinks of the day, car insurance, techie news, Hollywood fluff, and other good stuff. It has become a family affair with my youngest son watching before he leaves for school and my oldest watching as I leave for work. My morning commute is an hour and a 1/2 of non-stop traffic so the last thing I need is to be in the car in a bad mood, but thanks to Eye Opener that never happens.
I was told that over 3000 people entered last week’s contest so I feel blessed to have been chosen a winner. Every day for a week, right before breakfast when the “word of the day” was given, I would write it down on a post-it note and put in my eyeglass case so that I wouldn’t forget to enter it online – an old lady move that paid off!
Thanks Phl17-TV EyeOpener!!!

On the way home from work I stopped at Pockets Discount Liquors – (gotta love that name) to purchase my liquid grapes for the weekend. A Wine Consultant from Alternative Wines Delaware was conducting a tasting for Cara Mia (My Beloved) Moscato d’Asti.
I usually drink Red wine but it had a very light taste so I purchased a bottle, and received a $1.00 off the selling price. I also purchased a bottle of Stein 1 Schrage, a Sweet Red Wine from Germany a suggestion by the owner and I truly enjoyed it.
That’s my $5.00 for 2 Powerball and 1 Mega Million tickets – I can dream can’t I??!!
