Hello friends, and welcome to the #WWDParty!
This has definitely been a busy week which is one of the reasons why this post is a day late…”better late than never”. Anywho, last weekend I was in Philly at the SITSGirls Bloggy Boot Camp and if you didn’t get a chance to read the highlights you can do so by clicking here.
I am also in somewhat of a somber mood as tomorrow, September 14th marks the 22nd Anniversary of the death of my sister, Gloria so I will be heading down to Dover to visit her grave-site.

Congratulations to our fellow host Danielle, as she recently gave birth to a health baby boy – Adam Clarke Wells was born on August 27th at 8:45am, weighing 8.8 pounds and was 20.5 inches long!

August should be the month of “tailwinds” because it seems like the summer is flying by!
For some of you school is back in session and perhaps you are doing the “happy dance“. Our youngest leaves for Bowie State University on the 27th, and I am stocking up on the Kleenex!

Can you believe that this is the last weekend in July, where in the world is the summer going? Sunday we are taking our youngest to Bowie State University where he will spend 3 days for Freshman Orientation and placement testing. I vow to stay strong and not cry, as I am storing up my tears for August!

This has been such a wonderful week and I can’t believe that some of you may be gearing up for “BACK TO SCHOOL” – I know the sales and television commercials are in full swing.
Next Saturday we may drive over the bridge to Jersey to do some shopping at Cowtown Flea Market Just to pick up a few things before Malik leaves for his 3-day Freshman Orientation at Bowie State University.
Tayair has returned to work at the UDairyCreamery but is still on a liquid diet so I made him an ice cream float to break up the monotony of pureed foods and soups.

Hello friends and Happy Fri-Yay!
Here we are again, at the end of another blessed week and knocking on the door to what should be a gorgeous weekend. Hubby and I have a wedding to attend tomorrow and on Sunday we will be taking our son out to dinner to celebrate his 22nd Birthday. His birthday was actually on Monday but if you read yesterday’s post you’d know that I was in Atlantic City so we didn’t get to celebrate. He is also scheduled to have maxillofacial surgery on Monday morning, so please pray for a successful procedure.
Take a look at these guys, I saw them on the Boardwalk in AC and thought about how much this means to me in my daily life.
