Fashion and Fun after Fifty
From April’s edition of Instyle magazine I was inspired by the “your Look/Three Ways Polka-Dot Skirt on page 217. I don’t have a Polka-Dot skirt but this is what I came up with using a Polka-Dot dress that I purchased in 2009.
Dawn Dishwashing Liquid on sale .99c – coupon .50c off – price paid .49c
3 Musketeers Bars – .59c – wish I had a coupon, but this is a good price!
Haribo Gummies – $1.79 – coupon .30c off – price paid $1.49
Box candy and bars – $1.00 each
Olympus T-100 Digital Camera – $99.99, marked down to $50.00, in store mark down an additional $25.00 – price paid $25.00
I purchased these from Walgreens on sale with a coupon and find that they are easier to install than Sally Hansen. Quick and easy makes it #1 in my book.

My sister, Gloria worked at Goodwill in Dover for a year before her death in 1992. She and I loved shopping there even before it became popular. She and I loved shopping there even before it became popular. Leather coats, hats, boots and these purses are among some of the items that I still have to this day.

Spring Break is right around the corner and my family and I are anxious to get outdoors to start our annual Spring Projects. I had a 10% off total purchase coupon, so hubby, my #2 son and I headed to The Home Depot for their “Black Friday” sale.
These indoor plants are so colorful!

My project will be to stain the deck, and we found this new product called Restore on sale for $39, marked down from $49. Based on the measurements of our deck it was cheaper to get the 5 gallon bucket for $78.00.
#2 son was our designated driver both to Home Depot as well as loading and navigating the cart inside.
Before we checked out, my radar picked up on a small clearance section where I got 48 oz bottle of Pine Sol for $2.00
Can you smell the Bar-B-Que?
