OOTD – Turquoise Thursday
Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
Delaware dodged the snowstorm bullet yesterday, we only got a little rain and heavy winds and today the sun is shining with temps hovering above the 40 degree mark. Next week’s forecast call for highs in the 50′s to low 60′s, Spring is right around the corner, and more sunlight with the start of Daylight Savings Time on Sunday – don’t forget to “Spring Forward”.
Today’s outfit includes the color turquoise, a color that I like in clothing but not in jewelry. Turquoise, The Gem of Native Americans was very popular in the 60′s and early ’70′s, it seemed as though everyone had a big Turquoise ring or necklace, both men and women. Sapphire Green is supposed to be the “it” color for Spring, but Royal and Cobalt blues are my favorites as well as the lighter shades like turquoise because of their calming effects.
Calm, cool and collected – ready to take on the day!
