HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN HEAVEN
If Tears Could Build A Stairway
If tears could build a stairway,
and memories a lane.
I would walk right up to Heaven
and bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say “Goodbye”.
You were gone before I knew it,
and only God knows why.
My heart still aches with sadness,
and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to love you –
No one can ever know.
But now I know you want me
to mourn for you no more;
To remember all the happy times
life still has much in store.
Since you’ll never be forgotten,
I pledge to you today~
A hollowed place within my heart
is where you’ll always stay.
Happy Birthday Mama Midget. I am sitting in my home office looking at a Christmas ornament Toni made for me. It is a ceramic snowflake with a picture of you and I on it. I keep it out year-round. Thank you Toni.
Yes, I remember that ornament and miss her smiling face and warm touch so much….
Wonderful poem to honor your Mama Midget! Have a wonderful week my friend! Hugz always, Lisa and Bear
Thank you my dear, yes, she was my girl and it was with this blog that I tried to fill the void fill of her death. I have met some many wonderful women via my blog so I know I made the right decision.
