Hello friends, before we begin, let me tell you that I have an iPad, not an iPad Air which meant that I didn’t thoroughly read all the requirements before signing up for the campaign. Hello friends and welcome to winter. In the Northeast it’s time to baton down the hatches and cover up or put away the outdoor furniture. If your house is like ours, there is at least one area that is totally dark with no light switch or a lamp, perhaps it’s a hallway or the stairs. We keep the vacuum in a small cubbie in the basement and when the boys were younger they hated going in there to get it because it was too dark.

Hello friends,
I don’t know about you, but when it comes to exercise I have to admit that I don’t get enough of it. I don’t run or jog but I do like to walk both outdoors, weather permitting and in the evenings on my elliptical, energy permitting – lol.
However, my favorite exercise of all times is working outside in the yard. During this time of the year hubby and I spend our Sunday afternoons outside doing yard work. He mows the lawn, trims and edges the walkway, while I cut back the Spring and Summer foliage and pull those weeds which never seem to stop growing!

well it has been a little over two weeks since I started my weight loss journey and am proud to report that I am down 4 lbs already – Yay me! I’m not one who likes to weigh in every day even if it’s thought to be more of a motivator if you do.

Hello friends,
most of you know that hubby was diagnosed with small intestinal cancer for which he had surgery on March 31st. His last two appointments have shown no signs of it, but he will still need to have blood tests taken every few months.
