tomorrow is the 1st day of the most thankful month of the year
getting an extra hour of sleep on Sunday (end of Daylight Savings Time)
my health, family, friends and of course my faith

Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
Can you believe that next week it will be Labor Day, the unofficial end of Summer – where did August go? I don’t know about you but I don’t rush to put away my summer clothes and break out the Autumn gear. I like to leisurely linger into Indian Summer by continuing to wear white jeans and sundresses.
Last year I did a few Labor Day DIY’s one of which was upcycling a Sundress into a Maxi Skirt, you can read that post HERE. Today I am wearing that Maxi Skirt with a mustard-color blouse thrifted from GW Boutique (Goodwill) and Wedge Sandals from Target.
When the weather cools, I will wear an oversized sweater with the skirt
Gold tone accessories including watch from Avon and ring from Burlington Coat Factory

Yesterday I was reviewing some old posts from 2012, and saw this OOTD post dated July 25th, then realized that I wore the same skirt on Tuesday July 9th of this year. I guess it will now become my go-to skirt for July, at least I wore a different top but not sure which look I like better.

After yesterday’s round of torrential rains that caused major flooding, today turned out to be a perfect Spring day. A great day to sit in the park or take a leisurely walk. Whatever you have planned for the day make sure to spend a little time outdoors before the heat of summer begins.

Hello Friends and Happy Monday
I hope your day is going well and that it is productive and stress-free. I overdid it with the outdoor activities and today I am paying the price, both my mind and body are tired! Maintaining a pool is hard work and the older I get the less enjoyable it is. Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy lounging poolside but the Spring setup takes a lot of time, just vacuuming takes over an hour. I also have to do some comparison shopping for a new solar cover, think I’ll start with Daily Deal Superstore.
Today’s outfit is a mix of heavy and light because the temps were not expected to rise until later in the day.

Hello Friends and Happy Fri-Yay!
Well we made it through another week and for that I am thankful. It was a roller coaster of events with all the strange things happening in the world. I continue to pray for the 3 kidnapped victims in Cleveland and no matter what he did in his past, Charles Ramsey, you are definitely to be commended for being at the right place at the right time – thank you bro!
The heat is on so I chose to wear a skirt instead of jeans as I normally do on casual Fridays.

Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
The weather is warming up nicely despite yesterday’s hail storm, yes, it hailed in Middletown, Delaware. I hadn’t reached town yet therefore, I missed it but my girlfriend posted a pic on Facebook (LIKE me) and it was awesome, actual golf ball size hail in May – this global warming ain’t no joke!
I am getting a little impatient with the weather and am no longer waiting to go sleeveless or wear sandals as evidenced by today’s outfit. I added a little pop of color to the black and white with a coral watch and ring. The brass statement necklace with matching earrings I’ve had for over 25 years and paired them with a hammered brass bangle bracelet.
