Hello Friends and Happy Thankful Thursday!
It has been another busy yet enjoyable blogging week so now it’s time to stop and give thanks.
I am giving thanks for my health, which at times is in question
I am giving thanks for my family, who didn’t drive me too crazy this week
I am giving thanks to you my bloggy friends who keep me motivated
I am giving thanks for my faith – no explanation needed
I am also giving thanks for this stretch of beautiful Autumn weather!
I am also thankful that tomorrow is FRI-YAY!
I am thankful for this stripped skirt that was thrifted from Goodwill and this (old) top from Marshalls that I didn’t donate.
I am thankful for these uber comfortable, animal print pumps consigned from Charmingly Linda’s Consignment Shop in West Chester.
Now it’s your turn…what are you thankful for this week?
Today I am linking up with Katherine’s Corner who just got a fabulous new gig, so I know what she’s thankful for, hop on over to find out.

Hello Friends and Happy Hump Day Wednesday
This evening I will be teaching another FREE blogging class sponsored by The Money School of Delaware. “Small Business Blogging” will be held at the Bear Public Library beginning at 6:30 pm, and I hope to see a few of my Delawarean followers.
I was going through some of my unpublished pictures from the summer and came across this outfit which I am tagging “Wild Wednesday“. I love wearing animal prints, and I have shoes, scarves, sweaters, pants and purses in both Leopard and Zebra but Leopard has always been my favorite.
How about you, do you have a favorite “wild” animal print?
I can’t remember where I purchased this asymmetrical top but most likely it was at either at Marshalls, Ross or TJ Maxx.
I do however, remember getting these sandals from Ross.
When not wearing a skirt or dress I prefer wearing my Gauchos and you know that I’ve had these for awhile, do they even sell them anymore?
What do you think – does this sleeveless top remind you of The Flintstones?

Hello Friends and Happy Thankful Thursday
Today’s outfit of the day is featuring a J. Crew Inspired Rosette Necklace that I won in a sponsored contest given by fellow blogger Susan at Charming Lucy. I got home late last evening after attending the Delaware Today Fashion Awards and a package was waiting for me on the kitchen table. When I saw it I immediately fell in love and knew I wanted to wear it before Spring.
Avon watch and blue “stone” ring helps to tie it all together.
Both the knit top and patterned skirt were previously purchased at Marshalls.
RocketDog Peep Toe pumps from The Shoe Dept in the Exton Mall
I am thankful to have received yet another wonderful surprise this week and tomorrow’s post will be a wrap up of my birthday. Linking up with some lovely ladies at A Lovely Blog Hop, come on over and share.

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday
Today I had to break out the jacket as the temperatures this morning dipped a little too low for wearing short sleeves. A few of you may recall the closet mishap that I had a few months ago, well it happened again – #ihavetoomanyclothes, now most of my clothes are laying across the bed in the guest room. Thankfully, I have a separate rack for just skirts so I grabbed this unwrinkled Polka Dot skirt to wear with the lime green knit top.
This spandex jacket has a pleather weaved pattern giving it an edgy look which is why I chose to wear the studded bracelet. The studs in the bracelet are silver and the ones in my shoes are gold but I don’t have a problem mixing metals.
How about you, do you mix your jewelry metals?
Black leather backpack belonged to my sister and has been in my closet since 1992, I’ve never used it.
My favorite end-of-the-season studded pumps by Leuven Alexander were purchased from Rugged Wearhouse.
Today’s almost Totally Thrifted Outfit is from Goodwill

Hello Friends and Happy Monday
Although I am not ready for it, the fall season is upon us and in less than five days it will officially be Autumn. Since I can’t fight it, I am giving in and have begun to put away the shorts and pulled out the long sleeves. Sunday was a warm day, but it was too cool for short sleeves and shorts.
Top – Old Navy // Jeans – Ross
Flats – CitiTrends
Have you started wearing your Autumn Attire?

Are you a WALDO?
Do you have a White After Labor Day Outfit?
*
Growing up I used to hear people say that you should never ever wear white after Labor Day. Growing up we didn’t have many clothes so I probably didn’t have enough white outfits to wear the entire summer let alone carry over past Labor Day.
*
Now the older I get the quicker the seasons seem to change and the larger my wardrobe grows. I don’t know about you, but I never get a chance to wear all of my summer outfits in the summer months. Labor Day is the unofficial end of summer, but September 21st is the actual date so I will continue to wear white until then and maybe perhaps even into Fall.
Remember when I got these jeans for $1.00 at JCPenney
Hubby took my pics this morning – he makes me smile – I love him so!
This top has been hanging in my closet for as long as I can remember
Oh and you know my toes stay open until it snows!

Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
Can you believe that next week it will be Labor Day, the unofficial end of Summer – where did August go? I don’t know about you but I don’t rush to put away my summer clothes and break out the Autumn gear. I like to leisurely linger into Indian Summer by continuing to wear white jeans and sundresses.
Last year I did a few Labor Day DIY’s one of which was upcycling a Sundress into a Maxi Skirt, you can read that post HERE. Today I am wearing that Maxi Skirt with a mustard-color blouse thrifted from GW Boutique (Goodwill) and Wedge Sandals from Target.
When the weather cools, I will wear an oversized sweater with the skirt
Gold tone accessories including watch from Avon and ring from Burlington Coat Factory
Are you ready for the cooler weather of Autumn or are you like me and love the heat of the Summer?
Today I am linking up with Katherines Corner, come on over and congratulate her on reaching 10,000 followers – woohoo!

Hello Friends and Happy Monday
I trust you all had a nice weekend and are now having a productive and stress-free day. If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know we have a large Magnolia tree in the side yard that only produces one or two blossoms each year – this is what it looked like last year ( post )

This Magnolia tree was planted over 11 years ago, yet it has only produced 1 or 2 blooms but this year we got 4 – can you find them? The blossoms are so very fragrant but the leaves are a mess.

Worthington Top – JC Penney // Talbots Pants – GW Boutique

If it produced more blossoms the air would be filled with a beautiful southern scent.

Hello Friends and Happy Friday Eve!
For this post I asked a co-worker to take the pictures in order to give my sons a break. Sometimes they complain even though I provide them with food, shelter, water and lots of love!
As you know I work in West Chester, PA, and similar to the Marlton office it is surrounded by greenery which makes for a better background than my backyard.
This outfit was simple black and white, a classic combination.
Zebra Print on the shoes, tank and bracelets
Skirt was thrifted from GW Boutique
Comfy Zebra Print Wedges from Charlotte Russe (last season)
