Thrifted Tuesday – OOTD
Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday
Today I had to break out the jacket as the temperatures this morning dipped a little too low for wearing short sleeves. A few of you may recall the closet mishap that I had a few months ago, well it happened again – #ihavetoomanyclothes, now most of my clothes are laying across the bed in the guest room. Thankfully, I have a separate rack for just skirts so I grabbed this unwrinkled Polka Dot skirt to wear with the lime green knit top.
This spandex jacket has a pleather weaved pattern giving it an edgy look which is why I chose to wear the studded bracelet. The studs in the bracelet are silver and the ones in my shoes are gold but I don’t have a problem mixing metals.
How about you, do you mix your jewelry metals?
Black leather backpack belonged to my sister and has been in my closet since 1992, I’ve never used it.
My favorite end-of-the-season studded pumps by Leuven Alexander were purchased from Rugged Wearhouse.
Today’s almost Totally Thrifted Outfit is from Goodwill

Hope you are having a fantabulous day – Smooches!
You’re tearin up that outfit! I love the jacket, but I really love how you paired the polka dot skirt with those heels. It definitely adds an edgy element to an otherwise refined look!
Thank you and I thought about you after I saw the pics, I knew you would approve. Thanks niece!
oh my….I LOVE those shoes! great job on the outfit – thrifty is nifty!
Oh yes…thrifting is my passion but since I am missing a closet rack there will be no more hauls for awhile!
You’re looking mighty slender these days, Ms. Devah! 🙂 And I LOVE that polka-dot skirt! 🙂
Really, I only lost 5 lbs but my face still looks like I am storing Chestnuts for the winter!
Adorable outfit!! This fall I plan on working hard at losing weight so I will be a foxy 50 year old!,
Thank you and I am still trying to rid myself of the “menopause 20”! lol
Love the shoes!!! As always great combo 🙂
Thank you, yes these are definitely my favorite shoes!
Thank you so very much!
Love that skirt and those shoes remind me of a pair of Valentino’s.
Thank you, I’ve never owned a pair of Valentino’s so I’ll take your word on it!
Here they are: http://tinyurl.com/kzspjzo
Wow….I love them!
Nice outfit Antionette, I like how you teamed the edgy jacket and sandals with the polka dot skirt. I love polka dots, they are so romantic… Sara
Thank you, yes, Polka Dots are one of my favorite prints. Hope all is well on your side of the world.
Love the outfit and the thrifting you used to pull it all together. Those shoes are adorable (and you in them). I don’t have the ankles to pull that off so I’ll live vicariously through you. Katherine ‘sent me’…congratulations on your Good Neighbor nominee. Alys
Oh, aren’t you a sweet person to say this. Have a fantabulous day and I’m glad Katherine made us neighbors!
Me too!
Right back atcha.
Me too!
I just love your outfit!
Thank you, hope you are enjoying your Hump Day Wednesday!
One of your best! The colors, the shoes! everything! xxx
Thank you, a wonderful compliment especially coming from you – Mr. Styletonic!
very refreshing
Thank you.
Wow! Awesome outfit! You are my new style idol. Is that too much gushing for a first comment? I laugh everytime I mix my metals because it used to be such a no-no. Now they sell jewelry with mixed metals. It’s so nice to not worry about it all of the time. I just wear what I like.
No, definitely not, I love your enthusiasm. I’ve always worn silver and gold combos so it’s nothing new to me. Glad you liked the outfit and looking forward to getting more comments! Have a fantabulous day!
Ah, gorgeous! I love the shoes especially and that pretty skirt.
Thank you so much!
LOVING the shoes (hello Valentino) and the polka dots are divine! As usual, knocking out of the park.
As for the weather -what the heck are WE going to do in the cold?!?!?!?
Thank you – I am definitely not looking forward to the cold but I run out – have pics taken and run back inside – it works!
Love this outfit! 🙂
Thank you my dear – I hope you have a fantastic last weekend of September 2013!
Thanks, you too! 🙂
