Are you Serious ~ The Holidays Are Over Already?

Can you believe that it was just a week ago today when we were preparing for New Year’s festivities and the week before that Christmas – are you serious – the holidays are over already?
As I sit writing this post the snow is falling with a vengeance for what is to be the first major snow storm of 2014, and it’s name is Hercules.
I changed the calendar, #2 son and hubby returned to school, I returned to work but it seemed too soon – the holidays are over! No more shopping, wrapping or singing Christmas Carols. I already miss the TV specials, Charlie Brown Christmas, It’s A Wonderful Life and the Twilight Zone Marathon…are you serious the holidays are over already?

I will miss all of the decorations and looking forward to the holidays. Now I’m thinking about Valentines Day 🙂
I know, Valentine’s day is nice but not as many decorations…oh but lots of candy!
Is that your back to work outfit? You look great and I love those shoes on you! At least this outfit is one good thing to look forward to now that the holidays are over! And I agree I already miss the Christmas carls….but technically I haven’t stopped singing them….some are too hard to get out of my head!

Thank you, actually my back to work outfits are dresses and skirts but this weather hasn’t been very cooperative so I am wearing more pants. I miss listening to the Christmas songs in the car and seeing the lights and decorations at night – seemed like the holidays flew by… Enjoy the rest of your day.

Thank you, the top was thrifted last year and I love the color mustard. I wore it with a black blazer last year but decided to mix it up a bit and I think it worked better with the animal printed bootie. Hope you are having a pleasant day.
You look fabulous! Those shoes are fierce! I am missing the holidays too… especially the music. I miss being able to turn on the Christmas station in the car. 🙁 Oh well, I guess I just have to get ready for Valentine’s day…

Girl, Work it! You look absolutely fab! I love the shoes. It’s just the write print to make that outfit pop. On another note, I am the same way I still can’t believe that we’re in a new year already and the holidays are over. They went by much too fast this year.

Thank you, yes, everything holidays is nice but it went by way TOO fast – not happy about that. We have thawed out from snowstorm Hercules and are expecting temps in the 60’s on Saturday!
